The Busan Metropolitan Office of Education has decided to implement the academic management standards corresponding to the second stage of social distancing from all schools in the city from the 30th to ensure the safety of students and faculty members due to the third pandemic of Corona 19.

Superintendent Kim Seok-joon held an emergency press conference on the afternoon of the 26th and said, "Considering the rapid rise of Corona 19, we are compelled to take preemptive and special measures to protect students and faculty."

The reason why the City Office of Education is implementing the academic management standard, which corresponds to the second stage, which is more reinforced than the 1.5 stage of distance distancing in Busan, is the recent increase in the number of self-quarantine students in schools than when the previous concentration of 3 minutes 1 was applied (8.24~10. This is because there are many family infections and small-scale infections in recent years, and there is a high concern about local spread.

The Ministry of Education also advised each provincial and provincial office of education to take measures more strict than the current academic management standards for each stage of distancing in areas where there is a high concern about the spread of infection, and decided through consultation with the Busan Metropolitan Defense Authority.

Accordingly, in the case of elementary, middle, and elementary schools in Busan, regardless of the grade, the density should be maintained by 3 minutes and 1, and high schools should maintain the density by 3 minutes and 2.

However, it is possible to conduct academic management within 3 minutes and 2 of the overall density within the range that the elementary and middle schools can comply with the concentration of 3 minutes and 1 at the same time through flexible academic management.

Small-scale elementary, middle, and high school students (up to 60 students) of around 300 can attend school. In the case of special schools (level), the whole school attendance is the principle, but the density can be adjusted according to the decision-making of the educational community in consideration of the local situation.

It was decided not to provide additional supplementary guidance for students with basic academic background or intermediary entry, or to apply the density standard in the case of caring and after school.

In order to prevent and prevent the spread of Corona 19, the City Office of Education decided to carefully establish and promote a quarantine plan, such as securing a safe distance for classes and breaks, thorough feeding quarantine, and reinforcing life guidance after leaving school.

On the other hand, all elementary, middle, high, and special schools in Busan, excluding science colleges and overcrowded classes, have been taking full-scale teaching classes since November 2nd.

Superintendent Kim Seok-joon emphasized, "It is an inevitable measure to keep students and faculty safe from Corona 19," and emphasized that "It is a necessary measure to safely take the University Aptitude Test, which the examinees and their parents are worried about."

In addition, he said, “I hope that students, faculty, and parents will thoroughly follow the quarantine guidelines such as wearing masks, washing hands, and disinfecting.”
