브레이크뉴스 박동제 기자= 알츠하이머(치매를 일으키는 가장 흔한 퇴행성 뇌질환) 투병 중인 배우 윤정희(77. 본명 손미자)를 가족이 프랑스에 방치하고 있다는 청와대 국민청원이 올라와 논란을 빚은 가운데, 윤정희의 남편인 피아니스트 백건우 측이 “허위 사실”이라는 입장문을 냈다.    

 

지난 7일 공연기획사 빈체로 측은 공식입장을 내고 “최근 청와대 국민청원 및 온라인 커뮤니티를 통해 당사 아티스트인 피아니스트 백건우와 그분의 딸인 백진희에 대해 허위사실이 유포되고 있는 것을 확인했다”며 “해당 내용은 거짓이며 근거 없는 주장이다. 지난 2019년 5월 1일 윤정희가 파리로 돌아가며 시작된 분쟁은 2020년 11월 파리고등법원의 최종 판결과 함께 항소인의 패소로 마무리됐다”고 밝혔다.

 

이어 “백건우와 윤정희는 평생을 함께 연주 여행을 다녔지만 몇 년 전부터 윤정희의 건강이 빠르게 악화되며 길게는 수십 시간에 다다르는 먼 여행길에 동행할 수 없는 상황이 됐다. 하지만 가족과 멀리 떨어져 생활해야 하는 요양병원보다는 가족과 가까이서 친밀하게 지낼 수 있는 환경인 백진희의 아파트 바로 옆집에서 백건우 가족과 법원에서 지정한 간병인의 따뜻한 돌봄 아래 생활할 수 있도록 하고 있다”고 전했다.

 

또 “게시글의 내용과는 달리 주기적인 의사의 왕진 및 치료와 함께 편안하고 안정된 생활을 하고 있으며, 게시글에 언급된 제한된 전화 및 방문 약속은 모두 법원의 판결 아래 결정된 내용임을 분명히 말씀드린다”고 당부했다.

 

그러면서 “현재 윤정희는 안락하고 안정된 생활이 필요하다. 공인이라는 이유 하나로 개인사가 낱낱이 공개되는 상황은 원치 않는다. 확인되지 않은 사실을 바탕으로 작성된 악의적인 게시글의 무분별한 유포 및 루머 재생산, 추측성 보도 등 아티스트와 아티스트 가족의 인격과 명예를 훼손하는 모든 행위를 더 이상 삼가길 바란다”고 말했다.

 

마지막으로 “앞으로도 지속적인 모니터링을 통해 더 이상의 추가적인 피해가 발생하지 않도록 아티스트 및 아티스트 가족 모두의 보호를 위한 최선의 노력을 기울일 것을 다시 한번 말씀드린다”고 덧붙였다.

 

앞서 지난 5일 청와대 국민청원 게시판에는 ‘외부와 단절된 채 하루하루 스러져가는 영화배우 윤정희를 구해주세요’라는 글이 게재됐다. 해당 게시물은 관리자에 의해 실명이 가려진 상태다.

 

청원인은 “남편과 별거 상태로 배우자의 보살핌을 받지 못하고 파리 외곽의 한 아파트에서 홀로 외로이 알츠하이머와 당뇨와 투병 중”이라며 “수십년을 살아온 파리 외곽 지역 방센느에 있는 본인 집에는 한사코 아내를 피하는 남편이 기거하고 있어 들어가지도 못한다”고 주장했다.

 

또 “근처에 (윤정희의) 딸이 살기는 하나 직업과 가정생활로 본인의 생활이 바빠서 자기 엄마를 제대로 돌보지 못한다”며 “직계가족인 배우자와 딸로부터 방치된 채 윤정희는 홀로 투병 생활을 하고 있다. 혼자서 밖에 나가지도 못하고 감옥 같은 생활을 한다”며 “(윤정희의) 형제들이 딸에게 자유롭게 전화와 방문을 할 수 있도록 여러 차례 요청했으나 감옥 속 죄수를 면회하듯이 횟수와 시간을 정해줬다. 개인의 자유가 심각하게 유린당하고 있고 인간의 기본권은 찾아볼 수 없다”고 호소했다.

 

더불어 “(윤정희의) 형제 자매들이 인내심을 가지고 기다리면서 제대로된 간병, 치료를 애원을 하고 대화를 요청했지만 전혀 응답이 없고 근거없는 형제들 모함만 주위에 퍼트리니 마지막 수단으로 청원을 한다”며 글을 마무리했다.

 

윤정희는 1976년 피아니스트 백건우(75)와 결혼해 슬하에 한 명의 딸을 뒀다. 딸 백진희는 현재 바이올리니스트로 활동 중이다.

 

한편, 1960년대 ‘여배우 트로이카’로 큰 인기를 얻었던 윤정희는 1967년 영화 <청춘극장>으로 데뷔 후 약 320편의 작품에 출연했다.
