[브레이크뉴스=배종태 기자] 부산지역 화폐 동백전이 오는 31일 자정부터 현재 앱 서비스가 중단되고, 다음날인 4월 1일 오후 2시부터 신규 앱을 통해 서비스가 재개된다.

부산시는 동백전의 최종 운영대행사가 부산은행 컨소시엄으로 결정됨에 따라, 데이터 이관 등을 거쳐 4월 1일 오후 2시부터 즉시 동백전 서비스를 개시한다고 밝혔다.

신규 동백전 앱이 출시되면 ▲기존 동백전 이용 시민들은 구글플레이(안드로이드)나 앱스토어(아이폰)에서 신규 동백전 앱을 설치한 뒤 회원가입.정보이관 동의.카드 연결을 거치면 기존 잔액(충전금, 정책수당, 캐시백) 및 카드가 그대로 연동되어 사실상 즉시 사용할 수 있다. 

▲신규로 동백전을 이용하고 싶은 고객들은 동백전 신규 앱 설치 및 회원가입 후 동백전 카드 4종* 중에서 본인이 원하는 카드를 신규로 발급받아 이용하면 된다. 카드는 기존 카드를 모두 사용할 수 있다. 

시는 지난해 운영대행사 변경으로 서비스를 5일 만에 재개하였으나, 올해는 체계적인 이관 절차로 기존 동백전 앱이 종료되는 다음 날, 즉시 새로운 앱을 출시하도록 하여 앱 중단에 따른 시민 불편을 최소화하였다고 설명했다.

시는 안정적인 앱 서비스를 제공하기 위해 앞으로 최소 3년간 운영대행사 변경 없이 서비스를 제공한다.  아울러, 동백전 앱 설치와 이용에 어려움을 겪는 고령층, 취약계층 등을 위하여 부산은행 전 지점(또는 출장소) 215곳에는 전담 인원을 배치하여 현장 지원을 추진한다. 또한, 이용 편의를 위해 오픈 채팅과 챗봇 상담, 이메일 상담 등 다양한 방식으로 소통 채널도 확대 운영할 계획이다.
