[브레이크뉴스=배종태 기자] 부산시 보건환경연구원은 2일부터 개장하는 해운대.송정 해수욕장의 수질과 모래가 '해수욕장의 이용 및 관리에 관한 법률'의 환경기준을 모두 만족했다고 밝혔다.

해수욕장 수질 조사에서는 수인성 질병의 지표세균인 장구균(수질 기준 100MPN/100mL)과 대장균(수질 기준 500MPN/100mL)의 검출 여부를 조사했다. 조사 결과 해운대 해수욕장은 장구균 0~10MPN/100mL, 대장균 0~10MPN/100mL으로 수질 기준의 2~10% 수준으로 매우 양호했다. 송정 해수욕장도 장구균 10~49MPN/100mL, 대장균 0~10MPN/100mL으로 수질 기준을 만족했다.

백사장 모래 조사에서는 유해 중금속인 카드뮴, 비소, 납, 수은, 6가크롬(모래 기준 4mg/kg, 25mg/kg, 200mg/kg, 4mg/kg, 5mg/kg) 등 5개 항목에 대한 검출 여부를 확인했다. 조사 결과 2개 해수욕장 모두 카드뮴 0.22~0.27mg/kg, 비소 2.20~2.62mg/kg, 납 2.7~3.1mg/kg로 백사장 환경안전 관리기준 대비 매우 낮은 농도로 검출됐다. 또한 수은과 6가크롬은 2개 해수욕장 모두 불검출됐다.

보건환경연구원은 7월 1일에 개장하는 부산지역 나머지 5개 해수욕장(다대포, 송도, 광안리, 일광, 임랑)의 수질 및 모래 조사도 개장 전에 진행할 예정이며, 해수욕장 이용객들의 안전한 물놀이를 위해 개장 기간에도 월 2회 수질 조사를 실시할 계획이다.
