Busan City promotes comprehensive measures for the 'College Scholastic Ability Test' on the 17th, in which 27,628 students take the test at a total of 63 schools and hospitals.

For smooth support, the city plans to organize and operate a comprehensive situation team by preparing countermeasures such as ▲ Corona 19 response quarantine management ▲ traffic communication ▲ transport support ▲ noise prevention ▲ medical support ▲ public relations support.

The city plans to quickly check the results of rapid antigen test or PCR test on the day before the entrance exam, consult with the city office of education, and place the test site. In addition, confirmed test takers who do not have a means of transportation can be transported to a separate test site designated by the public health center, city hall quarantine transport vehicle, fire and disaster headquarters vehicle, etc.

On this day, public officials, public institutions, financial institutions, research institutes, and companies with more than 50 employees will adjust their commuting hours to 10:00 am.

City and village buses are intensively dispatched from 6:00 am to 8:00 am on the test day. In areas where traffic congestion is expected due to the concentration of test sites, 97 route buses will be operated at shorter intervals, and temporary trains (5 trains) of the urban railway will also be on standby.

A ‘joint on-site guidance group’ consisting of 38 classes in 14 divisions and 311 members is formed to guide traffic management in congested areas and illegal parking around the test site. 507 members of the Busan Branch of the Model Drivers Association volunteer at 187 locations, operate a transport service corps, and support transportation of late students and students with reduced mobility through 50 emergency transport vehicles at 37 major points such as urban railway stations and intersections. .

From 6:00 am to 8:30 am on the day of the test, the city operates the ‘Study Test Support Transportation Control Center’ for comprehensive management and support for transportation of test takers and vehicle traffic. In particular, 12 staff from the City Public Transportation Policy Division will be assigned to manage traffic conditions at 31 test sites where traffic congestion is a concern due to crowded test sites or narrow access roads.

In addition, from 7:00 am to 9:00 am on the day of the SAT, 30 fixed enforcement systems for bus-only lanes and 42 mobile enforcement systems on 14 routes are temporarily suspended (however, BRT sections remain enforced) Special management, such as the intensive deployment of traffic police in areas where traffic congestion is expected, such as intersections and intersections, and arterial roads near the test site, is carried out.

As for noise prevention measures, a noise countermeasure inspection team is organized in each division where the test site is located to check construction site noise and other life noises around the test site. During the exam, we plan to refrain from honking the horns of emergency vehicles and fire trucks, and induce detours to test sites such as trucks so as not to interfere with the English listening and speaking evaluation.

Medical support teams are operated around 16 district and county public health centers for prompt first aid and transport to medical institutions when an emergency patient occurs among test takers. A quick rescue operation is planned. In addition, a public relations support group is operated to provide notices for examinees and various information useful for the CSAT.
