[브레이크뉴스=배종태 기자] 제17회 부산불꽃축제가 다음달 17일 3년만에 광안리해수욕장, 동백섬, 이기대 앞에서 오후 7시부터 분산 개최된다.

축제는 불꽃으로 부산을 노래하는 감동의 하모니 ‘부산 하모니(Hamony of Busan)’를 주제로 개최된다. 불꽃 축제는 당초 지난 5일 개최 예정이었다. 하지만 지난 10월 29일 발생한 이태원 사고로 국가 애도 기간이 선포됨에 따라 무기한 연기되었다.

부산시는 이번에 행사가 재개되는 만큼 무엇보다도 관람객의 안전을 가장 최우선으로 하여 축제 지원에 나선다.

시는 당초 투입 예정이었던 안전요원 인력을 50% 이상 증원 및 현장 배치하여 ‘관람부터 귀가까지 안전사고 제로(zero) 축제’를 위해 총력을 기울일 방침이다.

광안리해수욕장 주요 진입로(16개소)에는 총량제를 실시하여 인파 과다 밀집 시 단계별로 통제할 예정이다. 행사장의 진입로는 당초 관람객이 자율적으로 보행할 수 있었으나, 혼잡 시에는 인파를 우회로 분산한다. 

행사장 주변 주요 병목지점 CCTV를 기존의 16개소에서 64개소로 확대하여, 실시간으로 관람객 운집 상황을 파악하고 인원을 통제할 계획이다.

또한 이동식 방송시스템을 장착한 LED 차량을 주요 장소(4개소)에 배치하고, 안전시설(펜스)을 추가 설치하는 등 관람객 분산 유도 안내를 위한 장비를 확충한다.

행사 종료 후에는 관람객들의 안전한 귀가를 위해 안내방송을 제공하고 도시철도 혼잡 역사의 단계별 진입 통제를 시행하여, 인파가 밀집된 지역에 분산을 유도할 예정이다.

행사가 당초 11월에서 12월로 연기되면서 원활한 행사 진행을 위해 불꽃 쇼 시작을 기존 시작 시각 오후 8시에서 1시간 앞당겨 오후 7시부터 진행된다.
