대통령실이 27일 더불어민주당의 '김건희 여사 우리기술 주가조작' 주장과 관련해 "터무니 없는 거짓"이라고 정면 반박했다.

대통령실 대변인실은 이날 언론 공지에서 "김의겸 민주당 대변인이 아무 근거 없이 '대통령 배우자가 다른 종목(우리기술) 주가조작 관여 혐의가 드러났다' 취지의 서면 브리핑을 냈으나 터무니 없는 거짓"이라며 "다른 사람 재판 과정서 나온 내용 중 일부를 마음대로 해석해 거짓 브리핑한 것에 강력 유감을 표한다"고 밝혔다.

그러면서 "공당 대변인이 금융감독기구 조사 결과 등 객관적 근거가 전혀 없는 상태서 '대통령 배우자가 주가조작했다’고 단정적 공표한 건 어떤 핑계로도 정당화될 수 없고 국익에도 아무런 도움되지 않는다"고 지적했다.
