[브레이크뉴스=배종태 기자] 부산시는 일본을 다시 찾아 2030부산세계박람회 유치교섭 활동을 전개한다고 밝혔다

부산시 이성권 경제부시장과 대한상공회의소 관계자 등이 교섭단을 구성해 30일부터 2월 2일까지 일본을 방문해 2025오사카.간사이세계박람회 개최부지를 시찰한다.

교섭단은 30~ 31일 양일간 도쿄를 찾아 일본 내각 외무성, 경제산업성 주요 관계자, 중의원 의원 등 입법부 핵심 인사와 면담하는 등 2030부산세계박람회 유치 위한 다양한 교섭활동 전개할 예정이다.

또, 다음 달 1일에는 오사카를 방문해, 만국박람회추진국 관계자의 안내를 받아 2025오사카·간사이세계박람회 개최부지를 방문한다. 이어,  타카하시 토오루(高橋 徹) 오사카시 부시장과 면답하고, 2025년 박람회 개최 준비상황을 청취하는 등 두 도시 간 성공적인 개최와 유치를 위한 상호협력방안을 논의할 계획이다.
