[브레이크뉴스=배종태 기자] 탈북민가정과 다문화가정 자녀들의 정착을 돕고 통일시대 인재 육성을 위한 '효정통일장학증서' 수여식이 29일 개최됐다.

이날 장학증서 수여식은 남북통일운동국민연합 부산시회(회장 신동성) 및 UPF 부산광역시회(회장 박성열)가 공동주최하고, 평화대사협의회(회장 주종기), UPF상임고문(장덕봉), 신통일한국국민연합 원로회(회장 김홍주), 부산여성포럼(회장 윤정자)이 후원했다.

장학금은 이들 6개 단체가 각 종 행사에서 한해동안 ‘One Dollar 캠페인’ 인 천원 후원 모금을 진행하여 모았다.

'효정통일장학증서' 수여식은 이날 오전 부산가정연합 5층 대강당에서 장학증서 수여 대상자들과 가족, 4개 후원단체 회원등 400여 명이 참석한 가운데 진행됐다. 또한, 후원금은 탈북민가정과 다문화가정 자녀 청소년 10명에게 남한 정착을 돕고, 통일시대 인재로 육성하기 위해 장학증서와 장학금으로 전달됐다.  

박성열 UPF 부산시회장은 "효정통일장학금은  한해동안 .탈북가정자녀들과 다문화가정 자녀들에게 '원달러캠페인'을 통해 '천원 기부 및 후원' 등 작은 금액이지만 모아진 후원금을 '탈북가정'과 '다문화가정 자녀들'에게 지급되어지는 장학금이기에 의미가 깊다."면서 "학생들은 각각 자기의 장래의 희망과 꿈을 찾아 모범이 되는 것은 물론, 자립심을 높이는 등 매우 강인하고 긍정적인 사고를 가진 대한민국의 희망인 미래세대들"이라고 격려했다.
