[브레이크뉴스=배종태 기자] 홍준표 대구 시장이 24일 법원이 윤석열 대통령 구속기간 연장 불허한 것과 관련해 "검찰은 면책적 기소할 생각 말고 지금이라도 늦지 않았으니 윤통을 즉각 석방해라."고 압박했다. 

홍 시장은 25일 자신의  페이스북을 통해 "내란죄 같은 중죄를 수사 않고 기소하는 전례를 남긴다면 그건 치욕의 검찰사가 될거다."라며 "예전에 내가 풀잎은 바람이 불면 눕지만 검찰은 바람이 불기도 전에 미리 눕는다고 한 일이 있다. 지금이라도 공수처와 일부 무지한 특정 법관들의 사법 만행을 바로 잡기 바란다."고  촉구했다.

홍 시장은 "검찰이 살아나야 나라가 산다."면서 "우리 검찰사에는 그 시퍼렇던 권위주의 정부 시절에도  중앙정보부의 압력을 물리치고 기소 거부한 강골 검사도 있었다. 그런데 요즘 니들은 어찌 갈대 검사들만 난무 하냐?"라고 일갈했다.

또 홍 시장은 전날 에도 "판사는 무효인 영장을 발부하고 공수처 검사는 이 영장들고 대통령을 강제구금 하고, 수사권도 없는 공수처가 아무런 수사도 하지 못하고 검찰에 송치 하고 송치 받은 검찰은 관계법도 검토해 보지 않고, 구속 기간 연장 신청했다가 기각되고, 그리고 아무런 조사도 없이 그냥 기소 한다."라고 지적했다.

그러면서 홍 시장은 "내란죄가 그렇게 가볍게 장난치듯 처리할 범죄이던가?"라며 "애초에 내가 내란죄는 안된다고 했는데 이재명 명 받들어 잽싸게 움직이더니 꼴 좋다."라고 힐난했다.

홍 시장은 이어  "그런 중죄를 다루는 공수처나 검찰이 하는 짓들 보니, 원래 공수처 폐지론자였던 내가 이제 검찰 수사권도 폐지 하는게 어떤지 하는 생각마저 든다."라고 비난했다.
