8월 첫째 주 주간 콘텐츠 랭킹에서 영화 <좀비딸>이 1위를 차지했다. <좀비딸>은 이 세상 마지막 남은 좀비가 된 딸을 지키기 위해 극비 훈련에 돌입한 딸바보 아빠의 코믹 드라마다. 배우 조정석, 이정은, 조여정, 윤경호, 최유리 등 원작을 찢고 나온 역대급 싱크로율 캐스팅과 이들이 펼친 환상의 연기 앙상블을 선보이고 있다. 또한 <좀비딸>은 개봉 5일 만에 180만 관객을 돌파하고 올해 최단기간으로 200만 관객을 돌파하는 등 올해 개봉작 가운데 가장 좋은 개봉 성적을 내며 흥행 청신호를 켰다.

4위는 영화 <전지적 독자 시점>이 차지했다. <전지적 독자 시점>은 10년 이상 연재된 소설이 완결된 날 소설 속 세계가 현실이 되어 버리고, 유일한 독자였던 ‘김독자’가 소설의 주인공 ‘유중혁’ 그리고 동료들과 함께 멸망한 세계에서 살아남기 위한 판타지 액션 영화이다. 지난달 23일 개봉한 <전지적 독자 시점>은 배우 안효섭, 이민호, 채수빈, 신승호, 나나, 블랙핑크 지수 등 화려한 출연진과 동명의 웹 소설 원작 팬들의 기대감으로 올여름 국내 영화 중 가장 주목받는 작품 중 하나였지만, 개봉 이후 아쉬운 성적을 기록 중이다.

5위는 tvN 드라마 [견우와 선녀]가 차지했다. [견우와 선녀]는 죽을 운명을 가진 소년과 이를 막으려는 MZ무당 소녀, 열여덟 청춘들의 거침없는 첫사랑 구원 로맨스 작품이다. [견우와 선녀]는 무속 신화를 기반으로 한 한국형 소재를 현실 로맨스 장르와 결합하며, 한국의 오컬트 색채를 현대 감성 속에 자연스럽게 녹여내 많은 인기를 모았다. 지난 29일 막을 내린 가운데 자체 최고 시청률 4.9%를 기록하며 유종의 미를 거뒀다.
