[브레이크뉴스=배종태 기자] 부산시는 11일 오후 2시 부산시민공원 다솜광장에서 열리는 ‘달밤에체조 부산 챌린지’에서, 2025 세계도핑방지기구(WADA) 총회 공동주관 기관인 한국도핑방지위원회(KADA)가 총회 홍보 활동을 펼친다고 밝혔다.

 

이번 활동은 시민 참여형 생활체육 프로그램 현장에서 공정 스포츠의 가치를 시민들과 공유하고, 총회에 대한 시민 관심을 높이기 위한 취지로 마련됐다.

 

생활체육 프로그램과 함께하는 공정 스포츠 홍보

‘달밤에체조 부산 챌린지’는 공원과 해변 등 야외 공간에서 시민이 함께 즐기는 생활체육 프로그램으로, 체조·요가·서킷 트레이닝·점핑·러닝 트레이닝·줌바·치어리딩 등 다양한 종목으로 구성돼 있다.

 

이번 제6회차 행사에서는 인기 운동 인플루언서 조진형과 이진이가 참여해 ‘달밤 머슬존’과 ‘러닝 트레이닝’ 프로그램을 진행할 예정이며, 전 여자 모글스키 국가대표이자 KADA 선수위원인 서정화가 참여해 세계도핑방지기구 총회의 성공 개최를 기원하고 시민들과 교류할 예정이다.

 

다채로운 도핑 방지 체험 부스 운영

행사장 내에는 WADA 총회 홍보 부스가 설치돼 시민들이 도핑 방지의 중요성을 쉽고 재미있게 이해할 수 있도록 다양한 프로그램이 운영된다.

 

홍보 부스에서는 도핑 방지 관련 퀴즈 풀이, 가상현실(VR) 체험, 총회 정보 리플릿 배포, KADA 마스코트 ‘톤톤’과 함께하는 폴라로이드 사진 촬영 등이 진행된다. 아울러, 행사장 내 LED 전광판을 통해 총회 홍보 영상이 상영되어 시민들에게 부산 개최의 의미를 널리 알릴 예정이다.

 

아시아 최초 부산 개최, 2천여 명 참가 예정

이번 ‘2025 세계도핑방지기구 총회’는 아시아에서는 처음으로 부산에서 열리며, 오는 12월 1일부터 5일까지 벡스코에서 개최된다.

 

총회에는 전 세계 각국의 선수, 정부 관계자, 국제 경기단체 대표 등 2천 명 이상이 참석해, 향후 6년간(2027~2032년) 모든 스포츠에 적용될 세계도핑방지규약과 국제표준 개정 사항 등을 논의한다.

 

“공정 스포츠 가치 확산의 장 될 것”

김일환 한국도핑방지위원회(KADA) 사무총장은 “부산에서 열리는 이번 총회는 향후 전 세계 스포츠 도핑 방지 정책의 방향을 결정하는 매우 중요한 회의”라며 “시민들이 VR 체험과 퀴즈를 통해 도핑 방지의 의미를 쉽게 이해할 수 있도록 하겠다”고 밝혔다.

 

손태욱 부산시 체육국장은 “시민과 함께 공정 스포츠의 가치를 나누는 뜻깊은 시간이 될 것”이라며 “2025 총회 성공 개최를 통해 부산이 글로벌 스포츠 허브 도시로서의 저력을 보여주겠다”고 말했다.

Public Engagement for WADA Conference

Busan City announced that on October 11 at 2:00 p.m., during the ‘Moonlight Gymnastics Busan Challenge’ at Dasom Square in Busan Citizens Park, the Korea Anti-Doping Agency (KADA), co-host of the 2025 World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) Conference, will carry out promotional activities for the event.

 

This initiative aims to share the value of fair play in sports and raise public awareness about the upcoming conference through citizen-participation sports programs.

 

Sports Programs with Influencers and Athletes

The ‘Moonlight Gymnastics Busan Challenge’ is an outdoor, citizen-participatory sports program held in parks and beaches. It features a variety of activities including gymnastics, yoga, circuit training, jumping exercises, running training, Zumba, and cheerleading.

 

At the sixth round of this event, popular fitness influencers Jin-hyung Cho and Jin-yi Lee will lead the “Moonlight Muscle Zone” and running training programs.

 

Former national mogul skiing team member and current KADA athlete representative Jung-hwa Seo will also join, wishing for the success of the upcoming WADA Conference and engaging with citizens.

 

Interactive Anti-Doping Booth

A WADA promotional booth will be set up at the venue, offering interactive experiences to help citizens understand the importance of anti-doping efforts.

 

Activities at the booth include anti-doping quizzes, virtual reality (VR) experiences, distribution of leaflets with conference information, and Polaroid photo shoots with KADA mascot “TonTon.” In addition, LED screens at the venue will broadcast promotional videos, highlighting the meaning and significance of hosting the conference in Busan.

 

Asia’s First WADA Conference in Busan

The 2025 World Anti-Doping Agency Conference will be held in Asia for the first time, taking place from December 1 to 5 at BEXCO in Busan.

 

Over 2,000 participants, including athletes, international and national sports organizations, and government representatives from around the world, will gather to decide on revisions to the World Anti-Doping Code and international standards for the upcoming six-year period (2027–2032).

 

“A Stage for Sharing the Value of Fair Sports”

KADA Secretary General Il-hwan Kim stated, “This conference is an important event that will determine the direction of global anti-doping policies for the next six years,” adding that “through VR experiences and quizzes, we aim to make anti-doping concepts easy and enjoyable for citizens.”

 

Busan City Sports Bureau Director Tae-uk Son expressed, “This will be a meaningful occasion to share the value of fair sports with citizens and build momentum for a successful conference,” pledging to showcase Busan’s strength as a global sports hub.
