[브레이크뉴스=배종태 기자] 국제 조선·해양산업의 최신 기술과 혁신 기조를 한눈에 볼 수 있는 2025 국제조선 및 해양산업전(KORMARINE)이 21일 부산 벡스코에서 개막했다. 

 

올해로 13회를 맞은 이번 전시회는 세계 40개국 1,000여 개 기업이 참여해 2,100개 부스를 운영하며, 3만여 명의 산업 관계자와 관람객이 방문할 것으로 전망된다.

 

세계 조선·해양산업의 교류 중심…부산이 글로벌 허브로

부산시는 오는 24일까지 4일간 벡스코 전관에서 열리는 이번 행사를 통해 ‘세계 조선해양산업의 중심도시’로서 부산의 위상을 한층 강화한다는 계획이다.

 

행사는 ▲부산광역시 ▲산업통상자원부 ▲한국조선해양플랜트협회 ▲한국조선해양기자재공업협동조합이 공동 주최하며, 2001년 첫 개최 이후 격년제로 이어온 대표 산업 전시회다.

 

국내에서는 ▲현대중공업 ▲삼성중공업 ▲한화오션 ▲케이씨씨(KCC) ▲에스앤시스(S&SYS) ▲태웅 ▲츄고쿠삼화페인트 ▲파나시아 등이 참여하고, 해외에서는▲에이비비(ABB) ▲슈나이더 일렉트릭(SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC) ▲지이 버노바(GE VERNOVA) ▲에머슨(EMERSON) ▲윈지디(WING&D) ▲라쿠텐 마리타임(RAKUTEN MARITIME) 등 글로벌 선두 기업이 참가해 기술 경쟁력을 선보인다.

또한 ▲네덜란드 ▲노르웨이 ▲덴마크 ▲독일 ▲영국 ▲중국 ▲필란드 ▲일본 등을 포함한 12개국이 국가관을 운영하며 자국의 첨단 조선기술과 해양 에너지 솔루션을 전시한다.

 

‘넥스트 에너지 기획관’…에너지 전환 이끄는 핵심 전시관 주목

올해 처음 선보이는 제2전시장의 ▲넥스트 에너지(NEXT ENERGY) 기획관은 조선해양산업의 지속 가능한 미래를 그리는 주제관으로, 국내 3대 조선사가 공동으로 참여한다.

 

▲에이치디(HD)현대는 인공지능(AI) 기반 퓨처 플랫폼(Future Platform)과 스마트 조선소 솔루션을 선보이고, ▲삼성중공업은 극저온제품연구센터와 친환경제품연구센터의 에너지 효율 기술을 전시한다. ▲한화오션은 암모니아 가스터빈과 풍력추진보조시스템 장비(WAPS 로터세일) 등 차세대 무탄소 추진 기술을 공개한다.

 

이 기획관은 각 조선소의 독립 부스와 분리된 특별 공간으로, 첨단 기술력 속에 구현되는 ‘K-조선의 미래’를 상징하며, ‘코마린’ 현장에서만 볼 수 있는 대표 콘텐츠로 기대를 모으고 있다.

 

학술회의·세미나·수출상담회 등 산업 생태계 연결

전시 기간 동안 ▲코마린 학술회의(콘퍼런스) ▲기술(테크니컬) 세미나 ▲마린엔지니어링학회 ▲수출상담회 등 다채로운 부대행사도 함께 열린다.

 

특히 ▲친환경 연료 ▲전기추진 ▲디지털 전환(AX·DX) ▲자율운항 선박 등 글로벌 조선해양산업의 핵심 트렌드를 공유하고, 국내외 산·학·연·관이 협력해 지속 가능한 산업 생태계 조성을 논의하는 장이 마련된다.

온라인 참가 허브 운영…글로벌 네트워킹 지원

전시회 공식 누리집에서는 참가업체 명단과 제품 정보를 볼 수 있는 ‘참가업체 허브’를 운영한다. 이를 통해 전 세계 바이어는 손쉽게 기업 정보를 열람하고 실질적인 비즈니스 파트너십을 구축할 수 있다. 부산시는 이번 시스템이 국내 기업의 해외 마케팅 경쟁력을 강화하는 창구가 될 것으로 내다봤다.

박형준 부산시장은 “조선해양산업이 친환경과 디지털 전환을 가속화하는 현시점에서, 코마린은 부산이 세계 조선해양산업의 거점 도시임을 다시 한번 입증하는 무대가 될 것”이라며 “성공적인 개최를 통해 국내외 기업에 실질적인 사업 기회를 제공하고, 산업 발전을 선도하겠다”고 말했다.

The 2025 International Shipbuilding & Marine Industry Exhibition (KORMARINE), where visitors can explore the latest technologies and innovation trends in the global shipbuilding and marine industries, opened on October 21 at BEXCO in Busan.

Celebrating its 13th edition this year, the exhibition features over 1,000 companies from 40 countries operating 2,100 booths, and is expected to attract around 30,000 industry professionals and visitors.

 

Global Hub of Shipbuilding and Marine Industry Centered in Busan

The City of Busan announced that it plans to further reinforce its status as the “Global Center of the Shipbuilding and Marine Industry” through this four-day event, which runs until October 24 across all BEXCO halls.

 

The exhibition is jointly hosted by ▲Busan Metropolitan City ▲the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, ▲the Korea Offshore & Shipbuilding Association ▲the Korea Marine Equipment Association. Since its first edition in 2001, KORMARINE has been held biennially, establishing itself as a flagship industrial exhibition.

 

 

 

 

 

 

From Korea, major participants include ▲HD Hyundai, ▲Samsung Heavy Industries, ▲Hanwha Ocean, ▲KCC, ▲S&SYS, ▲Taewoong, ▲Chugoku-Samhwa Paint, and ▲PanAsia.

Global leaders such as ▲ABB, ▲SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC, ▲GE VERNOVA, ▲EMERSON ▲WING&D, and ▲RAKUTEN MARITIME are also joining to showcase their technological competitiveness.

 

Additionally, 12 countries—including ▲the Netherlands, ▲Norway, ▲Denmark, ▲Germany, ▲the United Kingdom, ▲China, ▲Finland, and ▲Japan—are operating national pavilions to present their advanced shipbuilding technologies and marine energy solutions.

 

‘NEXT ENERGY Pavilion’ Highlights Energy Transition Leadership

Making its debut this year, the ▲NEXT ENERGY Pavilion in Exhibition Hall 2 serves as a thematic zone envisioning the sustainable future of shipbuilding and marine industries, with Korea’s three major shipbuilders jointly participating.

 

▲HD Hyundai is showcasing its AI-based Future Platform and smart shipyard solutions, while ▲Samsung Heavy Industries presents energy efficiency technologies developed by its Cryogenic Product Research Center and Eco-Friendly Product Research Center. ▲Hanwha Ocean unveils next-generation carbon-free propulsion technologies, including ammonia gas turbines and the Wind-Assisted Propulsion System (WAPS rotor sail).

 

This pavilion, organized separately from each company’s main booth, symbolizes “the future of K-Shipbuilding” through state-of-the-art technology, and stands out as one of the signature attractions available exclusively at KORMARINE.

 

Conferences, Seminars, and Export Consultations Connect the Industry Ecosystem

Throughout the exhibition period, a variety of related events—including the ▲KORMARINE Conference, ▲Technical Seminars, ▲the Society of Marine Engineering Annual Meeting, and ▲Export Consultation Sessions—will take place.

 

Key discussion topics include ▲eco-friendly fuels, ▲electric propulsion, ▲digital transformation (AX·DX), and ▲autonomous ships, offering an opportunity to share global industry trends and explore cooperative strategies among academia, industry, research, and government for sustainable growth.

 

Online Exhibitor Hub Facilitates Global Networking

The exhibition’s official website operates an “Exhibitor Hub” that provides directories and product information of participating companies. Through this platform, global buyers can easily access company details and establish practical business partnerships. Busan expects this system to enhance the overseas marketing competitiveness of domestic companies.
