[브레이크뉴스=배종태 기자] 국민의힘 부산광역시당(위원장 정동만 국회의원)은 7일 오후 시당 4층 회의실에서 신임 대변인 및 부대변인에게 임명장을 수여하며 대변인단을 새롭게 꾸렸다.  

이번에 임명된 대변인단은 기존 인력을 보강해 광역·기초의원, 변호사, 기업가, 대학생 등 다양한 분야 인사들로 구성됐다. 시당은 이를 통해 각 지역과 계층의 목소리를 폭넓게 반영하고 정책 메시지 전달력을 강화할 방침이다.  

임명장 수여식 후 열린 간담회에서는 대변인단의 활동 방향과 향후 계획이 논의됐다. 대변인단은 ‘글로벌허브도시 특별법’ 추진, 산업은행 부산 이전 등 지역 현안에 대한 당의 노력을 시민들에게 알리는 홍보 활동도 병행하기로 했다.  

정동만 시당위원장은 “부산의 변화와 비전을 시민께 적극 알리고, 지역의 목소리가 중앙정치에 온전히 반영되도록 하는 것이 대변인단의 임무”라며 “신속하고 정확한 정책 전달과 시민과의 소통 창구로서 역할을 기대한다”고 말했다.  

곽규택 수석대변인은 “시민의 시선에서 말하고, 시민의 목소리를 담는 대변인단이 되겠다”며 “부산의 미래 경쟁력을 높이기 위한 정책 메시지를 책임감 있게 전달하겠다”고 밝혔다.  

부산시당은 앞으로 주요 현안에 대한 논평과 브리핑을 확대하고, 경제·청년·지역 현안 등 주제별 정책 메시지 전달 기능도 한층 강화할 계획이다.

The Busan chapter of the ruling People Power Party (PPP) appointed new spokespersons on Friday to strengthen communication with citizens and reflect a wider range of local voices in party affairs.  

The appointment ceremony took place at the chapter’s fourth-floor conference room, where Chapter Chairman Rep. Jeong Dong-man presented certificates to the newly named spokespersons and deputy spokespersons. The new team includes municipal and district council members, lawyers, entrepreneurs, and university students, expanding representation across local communities and professional sectors.  

Following the ceremony, the party held a meeting to discuss directions and plans for the spokesperson team. The newly appointed members agreed to focus their outreach on key local issues such as the Special Act on Global Hub City Development and the relocation of the Korea Development Bank’s headquarters to Busan.  

“Spokespersons play a vital role in sharing Busan’s vision with citizens and ensuring the city’s concerns are fully represented in national politics,” Chairman Jeong said in remarks. He added that he expects the team to deliver policies quickly and accurately while serving as an open communication channel with residents.  

Chief Spokesman Kwak Gyu-taek said the spokesperson team will “speak from the citizens’ point of view and faithfully convey the voices of local people,” pledging to deliver the party’s policy messages responsibly and on time to strengthen Busan’s competitiveness.  

The party plans to expand its commentary and briefing activities and to reinforce issue-oriented communication on the economy, youth, and regional development in the coming months.
