[브레이크뉴스=배종태 기자] 부산경찰청은 2026학년도 대학수학능력시험이 치러지는 13일 오전 6시부터 부산 전역 62개 시험장 주변에 약 900명의 경찰 인력을 배치해 특별 교통관리를 실시한다.

올해 부산지역 수험생은 2만8,883명으로 지난해(2만7,356명)보다 1,527명(5.58%) 늘었다. 전국적으로도 응시생이 55만4,174명으로 전년 대비 6% 증가해, 차량 이용이 확대될 것으로 보인다.

이에 부산경찰은 시험장 반경 2㎞ 이내 주요 간선도로를 집중 교통관리구역으로 지정하고, 수험생이 탑승한 차량의 진입로 확보를 최우선 과제로 삼을 방침이다. 또 교통사고나 고장차량 등 돌발 상황에 대비해 싸이카 신속대응팀(15명)을 주요 교차로 곳곳에 분산 배치한다.

부산경찰청은 “시험 당일에는 시민들께서 자가용 이용을 자제하고, 대중교통을 적극 활용해달라”며 “수험생들이 편안하고 안전하게 이동할 수 있도록 교통관리에 만전을 기하겠다”고 전했다.

Busan Metropolitan Police said it will deploy about 900 officers around 62 test sites across the city to enforce special traffic measures starting at 6 a.m. on November 13, the day of the 2026 College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT).  

This year, 28,883 students in Busan are registered to take the exam, an increase of 1,527, or 5.58 percent, from last year’s 27,356. Nationwide, 554,174 candidates are expected, up 6 percent from the previous year, leading to expectations of heavier traffic as more test-takers travel by private car.  

To ensure smooth traffic flow, the police have designated major roads within a 2-kilometer radius of each test site as intensive control zones and will prioritize access routes for vehicles carrying test-takers. A 15-member fast-response motorcycle team will also be stationed at key intersections to respond swiftly to accidents or vehicle breakdowns.  

The Busan Police urged citizens to refrain from using private vehicles and to take public transportation instead, emphasizing that “every effort will be made to help students reach test sites safely and take the exam in a calm environment.”
