[브레이크뉴스=배종태 기자] 부산 기업들이 세계 최대 가전·IT 전시회인 'CES 2026'에 참가해 투자 유치와 혁신상 수상 등 다양한 성과를 거뒀다. 부산시는 이번 전시회를 통해 지역 기업들의 글로벌 시장 진출 기반이 한층 강화됐다고 8일 밝혔다.  

 

한국엘에프피, 코인베스트로부터 300만 달러 투자 유치  

㈜한국엘에프피는 이차전지 및 에너지저장장치(ESS) 분야에서 핵심 기술력을 보유한 기업으로, 지난해 CES 2025에서 ‘화재 진화 장치가 포함된 안전 배터리 관리 시스템’으로 혁신상을 수상하며 글로벌 기술력을 인정받았다.  

 

이번 CES 2026에서 한국엘에프피는 미국 투자사 코인베스트(Korinvest Group)로부터 300만 달러(약 40억 원) 규모의 추가 투자를 유치했다. 코인베스트는 지난해 10월 약 20만 달러의 초기 투자를 진행한 데 이어, ▲북미 현지 생산체계 구축 ▲공급망 확대 ▲전략적 파트너십 강화를 위한 추가 투자를 결정했다.  

한국엘에프피는 이번 투자를 계기로 미국 현지 생산거점을 확보하고 글로벌 공급망을 확충할 계획이다.  

 

부산 기업, CES 2026서 역대 최고 수상 실적  

올해 CES에서 부산 기업들은 ‘최고혁신상’ 2개, ‘혁신상’ 11개를 수상하며 역대 최다 수상 실적을 기록했다.

㈜크로스허브는 ‘블록체인 기반 4세대 하이브리드 신원인증(IDBlock)’ 기술로, ㈜스튜디오랩은 지능형 촬영 로봇 ‘젠시 스튜디오(GENCY Studio)’로 각각 최고혁신상을 수상했다. 이 외에도 ㈜맵시를 비롯한 11개 기업이 ‘혁신상’을 받아 지역 기업들의 기술 개발 역량이 세계 시장에서 주목을 받았다.  

 

맵시, 2년 연속 혁신상…글로벌 해운업계 협력 강화  

㈜맵시는 지난해에 이어 2년 연속 CES 혁신상을 수상했다. 이번에 선정된 ‘AI 기반 디지털 트윈 항해 플랫폼’은 해운·물류산업의 효율성과 안전성을 높이는 기술로, 세계 3대 해운사인 씨엠에이 씨지엠(CMA CGM)의 관심을 끌었다.  

 

맵시는 CES 2025에서 ‘팀부산 1기’로 참가한 이후, 지난해 ‘부산 코마린 2025(KORMARINE 2025)’에서도 북극항로 디지털 트윈 기술을 실시간으로 시연해 큰 호응을 얻었다.  

 

올해 CES 2026에서는 씨엠에이 씨지엠의 지원을 받아 ‘프랑스관’ 전시에 참여했으며, 현지시각 1월 7일 박형준 부산시장과 씨엠에이 씨지엠 부사장, 맵시 대표가 만나 해운 디지털 전환과 북극항로 협력 방안을 논의했다.

글로벌 투자 네트워크 협력 확대  

세계 최대 글로벌 투자사 플러그앤플래이(Plug and Play)는 지난해 9월 ‘플라이 아시아(FLY ASIA) 2025’ 참가에 이어 이번 CES에서도 ‘통합부산관’을 방문했다.  

 

플러그앤플래이 부사장은 현장에서 부산 스타트업들의 기술력과 제품을 살펴본 뒤 박형준 시장과 만나 글로벌 협력 확대 방안을 논의했다.  

 

“글로벌 첨단산업 거점도시로 성장할 것”  

박형준 부산시장은 “이번 CES 2026에서 지역 기업들이 거둔 투자성과와 수상 실적은 부산의 첨단산업 육성과 글로벌 진출 지원 정책이 실질적인 성과로 이어진 사례”라며 “앞으로도 기술력 있는 지역 기업들이 해외로 진출할 수 있도록 지원을 강화하겠다”고 말했다.

Busan-based companies achieved tangible results at the *Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2026*, securing investment and multiple innovation awards that strengthened their presence in global markets. The Busan Metropolitan Government announced on January 8 that the event served as a major platform for fostering the city’s high-tech industries and promoting their international competitiveness.  

 

Korea LFP secures USD 3 million investment from Korinvest  

*Korea LFP Co., Ltd.*, specializing in core materials for secondary batteries and energy storage systems (ESS), attracted an additional *USD 3 million (approximately KRW 4 billion)* investment from *Korinvest Group*, a U.S.-based venture capital firm.  

 

Having previously won an 'Innovation Award at CES 2025' for its *fire-suppression-equipped battery management system*, the company has been recognized for its global technological leadership. Korinvest made an initial investment of about USD 200,000 in October 2025 and decided to increase its funding to support **local production expansion in North America, supply chain enhancement, and strategic partnerships.  

 

Korea LFP plans to leverage this investment to establish a U.S. manufacturing base and expand its global supply network.  

 

Busan achieves record-breaking performance at CES 2026  

This year’s CES marked Busan’s **highest-ever number of awards**, with local companies winning *two “Best of Innovation” titles and eleven “Innovation Awards.”**  

 

'Crosshub Co' earned a *Best of Innovation Award* for its blockchain-based *4th-generation hybrid identity verification technology (IDBlock)*.'StudioLab Co.' was also named a *Best of Innovation A ward* winner for its intelligent filming robot, *GENCY Studio.*  

 

In addition, 'eleven other companies' received general innovation awards, further highlighting Busan’s growing reputation as a hub for technological creativity and industrial innovation.  

The eleven award-winning firms include **CIT Co. (ultra-flat copper-plated glass for semiconductor packaging), *Dataflare Co.* (vessel identification and carbon-emission monitoring platform), *Twohands Interactive Co.* (LiDAR-based AR sports training system), *Sharpen Goat Co.* (AI/IoT disaster safety system), *Vision Tech Co.* (non-waterproof leakage-current circuit breaker), *Hub Platform Co.* (*Peanut Cat* smart pet feeding system with cat recognition), *PowerCool Co.* (*PowerCool Handy 2026* hybrid portable air conditioner), *ViewRun Technology Co.* (*ViewX* integrated LiDAR software development platform), *MOS Co.* (all-in-one music platform), *Iamun Healthcare Co.* (AI sarcopenia diagnosis solution), and *MAPSI Co.* (AI-based digital twin navigation platform).  

 

MAPSI wins Innovation Award for the second year, expands global maritime cooperation  

'MAPSI Co.' received an Innovation Award for the **second consecutive year**, recognized for its *AI-driven digital twin navigation platform* designed to improve efficiency and safety in the maritime and logistics sectors.  

 

The firm gained significant attention from 'CMA CGM', one of the world’s top three global shipping companies. Following its participation in 'CES 2025 as part of “Team Busan,” MAPSI also attracted attention at 'KORMARINE 2025' by demonstrating its Arctic route digital twin technology in real time.  

 

At *CES 2026*, MAPSI joined the exhibition through the **French Pavilion**, supported by CMA CGM. On January 7 (local time), Busan Mayor Park Heong-joon, CMA CGM’s Vice President, and MAPSI’s CEO met at the Busan Pavilion to discuss digital transformation in maritime transport and potential collaboration on Arctic route development.  

 

Global innovation and investment networks strengthen ties with Busan  

'Plug and Play', the world’s largest global startup accelerator and venture capital firm, also visited the “Busan Pavilion” at CES 2026. Following its participation in *FLY ASIA 2025* in Busan last September, Plug and Play’s Vice President examined Busan startups’ innovative products and technologies and held discussions with Mayor Park on expanding global cooperation opportunities.  

 

Mayor Park: “Busan to strengthen its role as a global innovation hub”  

Mayor Park Heong-joon stated, *“The investment and award outcomes achieved by Busan companies at CES 2026 represent tangible results of the city’s continued efforts to foster high-tech industries and expand their global reach.” He added that Busan will continue to support innovative local firms in attracting foreign investment and entering new global markets to accelerate the city’s growth as a leading hub of advanced industries.
