[브레이크뉴스=배종태 기자] 사단법인 부산화랑협회 제16대 회장에 배미애(64세) 리앤배 대표가 당선되어 협회를 이끌게 됐다.

부산화랑협회는 27일 부산 웨스틴 조선 호텔에서 열린 2026년 정기총회에서 선거 결과를 확정했으며, 배미애 신임 회장은 오는 8월 1일부터 2년간의 임기를 시작한다.

배미애 회장은 이화여자대학교를 졸업하고 동대학원에서 석·박사 학위를 취득했다. 2010년 리앤배를 개관해 운영 중이며, 현재 한국화랑협회 지역이사를 맡고 있다.

이날 총회에서 선출된 신임 집행부는 부회장 전수열(스페이스나무 오로라 갤러리 대표)과 노인숙(해오름 갤러리 대표), 총무이사 백유미(판 갤러리 대표), 재무이사 양소순(갤러리 어썸 대표) 및 이은지(모제이 갤러리 대표), 정책이사 양영국(갤러리 하나 대표), 기획이사 김성휘(산목&휘 갤러리 대표), 국제이사 남은진(아트소향 대표), 지역이사 정민수(갤러리 월 대표)와 남소연(연아트 오브 갤러리 대표)으로 구성됐다. 내부에 감사는 박경숙(갤러리 포 대표)과 현서정(모아미 갤러리 대표)이 맡게 되었다.

배미애 신임 회장은 “BAMA 브랜드 가치 강화와 글로벌 아트페어와의 전략적 파트너십 구축을 통해 부산 화랑들이 세계 무대에 나아갈 안정적인 교두보를 마련하겠다”고 포부를 밝혔다. 이어 “다양한 국가 사업 수행을 통해 협회의 자생력을 강화하고 회원에게 제공하는 혜택과 지원을 대폭 확대하는 선순환 구조를 만들겠다”고 덧붙였다.

Bae Mi-ae (64), representative of Leeahn Gallery, has been elected as the 16th president of the Busan Galleries Association to lead the organization.

The Busan Galleries Association confirmed the election results at its 2026 regular general meeting held at the Westin Josun Busan on July 27, and newly elected President Bae will begin her two-year term starting August 1.

President Bae graduated from Ewha Womans University and earned her master's and doctoral degrees from the same graduate school. She opened and operates Leeahn Gallery in 2010 and currently serves as a regional director of the Galleries Association of Korea.

The newly elected executive board members chosen at the meeting consist of Vice Presidents Jeon Soo-yul (Representative of Spacename Aurora Gallery) and Noh In-sook (Representative of Haeorum Gallery), General Affairs Director Baek Yu-mi (Representative of Hahn Gallery), Financial Directors Yang So-soon (Representative of Gallery Awesome) and Lee Eun-ji (Representative of Mogee Gallery), Policy Director Yang Young-guk (Representative of Gallery Hana), Planning Director Kim Sung-hwi (Representative of Sanmok & Hwi Gallery), International Director Nam Eun-jin (Representative of Art Sohyang), and Regional Directors Jung Min-soo (Representative of Gallery Wall) and Nam So-yeon (Representative of Yeon Art Of Gallery). The internal auditors will be Park Kyung-sook (Representative of Gallery Po) and Hyun Seo-jung (Representative of Moami Gallery).

Newly elected President Bae stated, "Through strengthening the brand value of BAMA and establishing strategic partnerships with global art fairs, we will build a stable bridgehead for Busan galleries to advance onto the global stage." She added, "We will create a virtuous cycle that strengthens the association's self-sufficiency through carrying out various national projects and significantly expands the benefits and support provided to our members."
