2026년 KOICA 코디네이터, 영프로페셔널 설명회

[브레이크뉴스=배종태 기자]  한국국제협력단(KOICA)이 청년 인재의 국제개발협력(ODA) 사업 참여와 글로벌 역량 강화를 위해 전 세계 37개국에 파견할 ‘2026년 해외사무소 및 재외공관 영프로페셔널(YP)’ 51명을 공개 모집한다.

이번 채용은 KOICA 해외사무소 46명, 재외공관 5명 등 총 51명 규모로 진행된다. 파견 지역은 아시아, 아프리카, 중남미, 동구·CIS 등 전 세계 37개국이다. 선발 인원은 오는 12월 7년부터 순차적으로 파견돼 기본 6개월간 근무하며, 활동 평가 결과에 따라 최대 6개월까지 연장 근무가 가능하다.

지원 자격은 만 19세 이상 만 34세 이하의 대한민국 국적자다. 남성은 군 복무를 마쳤거나 면제된 상태여야 하며, 토익 기준 730점 이상의 공인영어성적을 갖춰야 한다. 다만 국가별 체류 자격에 따라 학력 제한이 적용된다.

인도네시아, 르완다, 탄자니아, 페루는 학사 이상 졸업자만 지원할 수 있고, 케냐는 학사 재학 이상의 자격을 요구한다. 채용은 인적 사항을 배제하는 블라인드 방식으로 진행된다. 전형은 서류전형, 온라인 적합도 검사, 면접전형(일반 및 영어), 신체검사 순으로 이어지며, 11월 10일 최종 합격자를 발표한다. 합격자는 11월 17일부터 시작되는 국내 교육을 수료한 뒤 현지에 파견된다.

최종 선발자에게는 월 240만7000원의 급여가 지급된다. 더불어 왕복 항공권, 현지 주거비, 해외여행자 보험, 현지 교육 훈련비 등 파견 및 현지 체류에 필요한 제반 경비 일체를 지원한다.

지원서 접수는 오는 21일 오후 6시까지 KOICA 온라인 채용 홈페이지를 통해 진행된다.

The Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) announced a public recruitment drive for 51 Young Professionals (YP) to be dispatched to 37 countries worldwide in 2026, aiming to provide young talent with hands-on experience in Official Development Assistance (ODA) projects and strengthen their global competitiveness.

The recruitment covers a total of 51 positions, comprising 46 at KOICA overseas offices and 5 at South Korean diplomatic missions. Dispatches will cover 37 countries across Asia, Africa, Latin America, and Eastern Europe/CIS. Selected candidates will be deployed sequentially starting December 7 for an initial six-month period, which can be extended up to an additional six months based on performance evaluations.

Eligible applicants must be South Korean nationals aged 19 to 34.

Male applicants must have completed or been exempted from military service, and all candidates must meet minimum certified English proficiency requirements, such as a TOEIC score of 730 or higher. Certain academic restrictions apply depending on visa requirements by country: applicants for Indonesia, Rwanda, Tanzania, and Peru must hold at least a bachelor's degree, while Kenya requires current enrollment in a bachelor's program or higher.

The entire procedure will follow a blind hiring process. Selection includes document screening, an online aptitude test, interviews (general and English), and medical examinations, with final results to be announced on November 10. Successful applicants will undergo domestic training starting November 17 before departing for their host countries.

Appointees will receive a monthly stipend of 2,407,000 KRW. KOICA will also provide full support for dispatch and residency expenses, including round-trip airfare, local housing allowance, overseas travel insurance, and local training costs. Applications can be submitted exclusively through the KOICA online recruitment website until 6:00 PM on August 21.
