[브레이크뉴스=배종태 기자] 부산 금정구가 침체한 부산대 상권 활성화에 나선다.

금정구는 9월부터 12월까지 매주 토요일 오후 4시부터 8시까지 금정로60번길 일원에서 거리형 문화행사 ‘C-게릴라’를 운영한다.

이번 행사는 부산대역 1번 출구 앞 맥도날드 골목 일대에서 열리며, 금정구와 부산대자율상권조합이 공동으로 마련했다.

행사에서는 버스킹과 댄스공연, 현장 이벤트, 체험 프로그램, DJ 음악부스, 거리도서관 등 다양한 콘텐츠를 선보인다.

지난 9월 5일 첫 행사에서는 싱어송라이터 요조와 함께하는 북토크 콘서트를 비롯해 버스킹, 댄스공연, 거리도서관 등이 진행돼 방문객들의 호응을 얻었다.

금정구는 앞으로도 회차별로 다양한 문화 콘텐츠를 선보여 젊은 층은 물론 가족 단위 방문객이 찾고 머물 수 있는 거리 분위기를 조성할 계획이다.

윤일현 금정구청장은 “이번 행사가 부산대 상권에 새로운 활력을 더하는 계기가 되길 바란다”며 “사람들이 찾아오고 오래 머물고 싶은 상권을 만들 수 있도록 다양한 콘텐츠와 실효성 있는 지원을 이어가겠다”고 말했다.

BUSAN, Geumjeong-gu is launching a street culture program to revitalize the commercial district around Pusan National University.

The “C-Guerilla” program will run from September through December on Saturdays from 4 to 8 p.m. along Geumjeong-ro 60beon-gil, near Exit 1 of Pusan National University Station.

Organized by Geumjeong-gu and the Pusan National University Self-Reliance Commercial District Association, the program features busking, dance performances, on-site events, hands-on activities, a DJ booth and a street library.

The first event, held Sept. 5, featured a book-talk concert with singer-songwriter Yojo, along with busking, dance performances, a street library and various activities and events.

Geumjeong-gu plans to offer different cultural programs at each event to give visitors more reasons to visit and stay in the area. The district also hopes to create a welcoming atmosphere for young people and families while connecting cultural activities with local businesses.

“We are pleased to see people naturally spending time in the Pusan National University commercial district while enjoying cultural activities and performances,” Geumjeong-gu Mayor Yoon Il-hyun said.

“We hope this program will bring new energy to the area. We will continue to provide diverse cultural content and practical support to create a commercial district that people want to visit and stay in,” he said.
