브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= 최태원 SK그룹 회장이 개인 자금 조달을 위해 보유 중인 SK㈜ 주식 약 9440억원어치를 매각한다.

2일 금융감독원 전자공시시스템에 따르면 최 회장은 이날 SK㈜ 보통주 165만3924주를 매각하는 내용의 특정증권등 거래계획보고서를 공시했다.

공시에 따르면 최 회장은 보유 주식 가운데 97만2493주를 주당 55만9387원에 매각해 약 5440억원을 조달한다. 

나머지 68만1431주는 주당 58만7000원에 매각하며 거래 규모는 약 4000억원이다. 

두 거래 모두 시간외대량매매 방식으로 진행되며, 거래 기간은 11월 2일부터 12월 1일까지다.

거래가 완료되면 최 회장의 SK㈜ 지분율은 현재 17.76%에서 15.49%로 2.27%포인트 낮아진다. 공시상 거래 목적은 ‘보유 주식 매각을 통한 개인 소요 자금 조달’이다.

한편, 업계에선 노소영 아트센터 나비 관장과 이혼 소송을 진행 중인 최 회장이 재산분할금을 납부하기 위한 주식 매각으로 보고 있다.

앞서 서울고법 가사1부는 지난 7월 24일 최 회장이 노 관장에게 재산분할금 9440억원을 지급하라고 판결했다. 재판부는 최 회장이 보유한 SK㈜ 주식을 재산분할 대상으로 인정하고 재산분할 비율을 최 회장 3분의 2, 노 관장 3분의 1로 정했다.

최 회장은 이에 불복해 지난 8월 14일 재상고장을 제출했으며, 재산분할 사건은 현재 대법원 판단을 앞두고 있다.

=SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won is selling SK Inc. shares worth approximately 944 billion won to raise personal funds.

According to the Financial Supervisory Service’s electronic disclosure system on the 2nd, Chairman Chey filed a report detailing a plan to sell 1,653,924 common shares of SK Inc.

The filing indicates that he will raise approximately 544 billion won by selling 972,493 of his shares at 559,387 won per share.

The remaining 681,431 shares will be sold at 587,000 won per share, with the transaction valued at approximately 400 billion won.

Both transactions will be executed via after-hours block trading between November 2 and December 1.

Upon completion of the sales, Chairman Chey’s stake in SK Inc. will decrease by 2.27 percentage points, dropping from the current 17.76% to 15.49%. The stated purpose of the transaction is to "raise necessary personal funds through the sale of held shares."

Industry observers believe the sale is intended to secure funds for the property division settlement in his ongoing divorce proceedings with Roh So-young, Director of Art Center Nabi.

On July 24, the Family Division 1 of the Seoul High Court ruled that Chairman Chey must pay 944 billion won in property division to Director Roh. The court recognized the SK Inc. shares held by Chairman Chey as assets subject to division and set the distribution ratio at two-thirds for Chairman Chey and one-third for Director Roh. Chairman Choi challenged the ruling by filing an appeal to the Supreme Court on August 14, and the property division case is currently awaiting a decision from the Supreme Court.
