[브레이크뉴스=배종태 기자] 인터넷 맘카페에서 전화번호를 수집해, 코로나 정부지원금 대출로 가장한 메신저피싱 등으로 25억 원을 가로챈 사기 일당 7명이 붙잡혔다.

 

부산경찰청은 지난해 2월부터 올해 5월까지 중국 및 국내사무실 등에서 ▲코로나 정부지원금대출을 가장한 메신저피싱 ▲가상자산 투자사기 ▲몸캠피싱 등의 수법으로 피해자 685명을 상대로 25억원을 갈취한 혐의로 총책 A씨(24세) 등 3명을 구속하고, 공범 4명을 형사입건했다.

 

특히, 공범 4명중 자금세탁책 B씨(26,대학생), 대포폰 유심공급책 C씨(27), 사기광고 컨텐츠 제작자 D씨(29) 등은 모두 20대이다. 이들은 과거 해외도박사이트 종업원으로 일하면서 알게 된 사이로서, 중국 및 국내에 사무실을 두고 각종 피싱사기 범죄를 공모하여 범행을 한 것으로 드러났다. 경찰은 해외 도피 중인 주범 2명도 신원을 파악해 인터폴 국제공조수사(적색수배) 중에 있다.

이들은 인터넷 맘카페 등에서 불법 수집한 전화연락처를 대상으로, 2020년 12월부터 2021년 5월까지 '코로나 정부지원금 대출'을 해준다는 광고 문자를 발송한 후, 이에 연락해온 피해자들에게 ‘대출받으려면 신용등급을 상향시켜야한다, 본인인증 비용, 증거금 등 수수료가 필요하다’고 속여 피해자 2명에게 1,400만원을 편취했다.
