이날 사상공단 내 첨단소재 기업 ㈜금양에서 열린 선포식은 박형준 부산시장, 신상해 시의회 의장, 여운철 사상구청장 권한대행, 시·구의원, 콘텐츠기업.협회 관계자와 주민대표로 류광지 ㈜금양 회장, 정운진 J&Company 회장이 참석한 가운데 진행됐다.

 

이날 박형준 시장은 "사상공단을 4차 산업혁명 중심의 미래도시, 드림스마트시티로 변모시킬 것"이라며 ▲산업디지털 전환(DX) 추진 ▲디지털콘텐츠 산업 클러스터 조성 ▲동남권의 혁신성장 거점 육성 위한 활성화구역 확대 지정 등의 비전을 제시했다.

 

그동안 사상공단은 산단 재생 기반 마련을 위해 도로확장 및 인프라 확충과 업종의 변경을 유도하는 등 재정비 사업방식으로 노후산업 구조개편을 추진해 사업 진행 속도가 늦고 효과도 다소 미흡했다.
