[브레이크뉴스=배종태 기자] '지스타 2024‘가 게임문화 활성화를 위해 ‘지스타 2024 게임 코스프레 어워즈‘를 개최한다.

올해 7회째를 맞이하는 ‘지스타 2024 게임 코스프레 어워즈‘는 게임 속 캐릭터들을 재현하고, ‘코스프레‘의 다양한 즐거움을 체험할 수 있는 지스타 대표 문화축제다. 

온라인 예선전을 거쳐 본선은 부산 벡스코에 마련된 현장 특설무대에서 진행된다. 지스타 조직위원회는 공식 홈페이지(www.gstar.or.kr)를 통해 ‘게임 코스프레 어워즈’에 참가할 신청자 접수를 받고 있으며 11월 3일 오후 6시에 마감한다.

특히 올해는 지스타 20주년을 맞이하여 기존 ‘지스타 게임 코스프레 어워즈’와 함께 역대 수상자들이 최고의 자리를 겨루는 ‘왕중왕전’을 별도로 개최하게 되어 예년보다 더욱 치열한 경쟁과 수준 높은 코스튬 플레이가 선보일 것으로 예상된다. 

한편, 지스타 20주년을 맞아 특별행사로 진행되는 ‘왕중왕전’영예의 1등 수상자에게는 2025년도 ‘지스타 게임 코스프레 어워즈’의 심사위원으로 위촉되는 혜택이 주어질 예정이다.

‘지스타 게임 코스프레 어워즈’는 개인이나 코스프레 동호회 등 게임을 좋아하는 사람이면 누구나 참여 가능하다.
