1. [브레이크뉴스=배종태 기자] 국토교통부는 지난 28일(화) 오후10시 15분경 김해공항에서 발생한 에어부산ABL391편 여객기 화재 사고 관련, 중앙사고수습본부와 지역사고수습본부(김해공항)를 구성하여 신속한 사고 수습에 나섰다. 

항공기 기체는 반소되고 양측 날개와 엔진은 손상되지 않은 것으로 확인되었으며, 사고 원인에 대해서는 사고조사수습위 조사관 등이 29일 오전 5시 55분 경부터 현장조사를 진행했다. 

이번 화재사고로 큰 인명피해는 없다. 탑승객과 승무원 총 176명(탑승객 169명, 승무원.정비사 7명) 모두 비상 탈출하여 전원 무사하다. 

국토부는 110명(탑승객 105명)은 자택으로 귀가, 65명(탑승객 63명)은 호텔에 투숙 중이며 1명은 입원 치료 중이라고 밝혔다. 

아울러, 에어부산은 임시 항공편을 투입하여 기존 탑승객 중 탑승을 희망하는 승객을 대상으로 이날 저녁 김해공항에서 홍콩으로 출발 할 계획이다. 돌아오는 항공편에는 기존 화재 사고 항공기의 후속편으로 도착 예정이었던 승객을 탑승시켜 운항 할 계획이다.  

한편, 사고원인을 조사하기 위해 국토교통부 및 항공철도사고조사위는 조사관 등 7명을 현장에 급파됐다.국토교통부는 세종청사에 중앙사고수습본부와 김해공항에 지역사고수습본부를 설치.운영하고 있다. 

국토교통부(부산지방항공청)는 사고 직후인 29일(수)새벽 00시 30분부터 오전 11시 30분까지 관계기관 합동 대테러 조사를 실시했다. 항공기 내 반입이 금지된 위해물품 등 테러와 관련된 용의점은 발견되지 않았으나, 향후 사고조사위원회 조사 등의 과정에서 용의점이 파악되는 경우 관계기관 합동 추가 조사를 시행 할 계획임을 밝혔다.

사고 원인으로는 보조배터리 등의 수화물에서 불이 났을 가능성이 제기되고 있다. 29일 부산소방재난본부 등에 따르면 '불은 전날 오후 10시 26분쯤 항공기 꼬리 내부'에서 시작됐다. 화재 당시 에어부산 BX391편에 탑승해 이륙을 준비 중이던 승무원은 기내 뒤편 주방에서 대기 중 닫혀있던 오버헤드빈(머리 위 선반) 내부에서 연기와 불꽃이 나는 것을 목격해 관제탑에 상황을 보고한 것으로 전해졌다.

부산경찰청은 30일 오전 10시경 국토교통부 항공조사위원회 단장 강용학 등 4명, 형기대장 등 6명, 과수대장 등 5명과 안전조치 및 감식사항, 원인 조사 진행계획 등 회의 후 감식을 진행하기로 협의했다고 밝혔다.

승객 보상 관련해서, 에어부산은 삼성화재에 기체 및 승객 보험에 가입해 있으며, 승객 상해 및 수하물에 대한 보상도 포함된 것으로 확인되었다.
