부산시는 부산기술창업투자원(BSIA) 출범식을 개최하고, 11개 협력 기관이 '글로벌 창업도시 조성을 위한 공동협력' 추진을 위한 업무협약(MOU)을 체결했다.

9일 오후 창투원에서 진행된 이번 행사는 박형준 시장, 서종군 창투원장, 김형철 시의회 기획재경위원회 의원, 양재생 부산상공회의소 회장, 김종호 기술보증기금 이사장, 유종필 창업진흥원장, 기업(AC, VC 등), 시민 등 200여 명이 참석했다.

또한, 부산시, 부산기술창업투자원, 기술보증기금, 창업진흥원, 신용보증기금, 코트라부산지원본부, 한국벤처캐피탈협회, 초기투자액셀러레이터협회, 한국엔젤투자협회, 코리아스타트업포럼, 부산지식재산센터 등 11개 기관이 참여, 인적·물적·네트워크 등 자원을 활용해 글로벌 창업도시 조성을 위한 공동협력자로의 MOU를 맺었다.

이날 출범식은 ▲출범식 세리머니 ▲창투원 설립 경과보고 및 시민 응원 영상 상영 ▲박형준 시장과 정승 ㈜씨아이티 대표의 축사 ▲글로벌 창업도시 조성을 위한 공동협력 업무협약 ▲기념 촬영 등의 순으로 진행됐다.

전국 최초로 설립된 창투원은 기술창업 지원과 투자기능을 전담하는 공공기관으로 지난 2월 5일 설립등기를 마쳤다.

5개 팀 체계로 ▲혁신창업팀 ▲성장기반팀 ▲펀드투자팀 ▲글로벌투자팀 ▲경영지원팀을 두고 있으며, 원장을 비롯해 감사 등 5명을 비상임 임원으로 임명했다. 정원은 35명으로 상반기 경력직 직원을 채용해 3월 24일 정식 업무를 개시했다. 

창투원은 부산지역 내 창업지원 기능을 통합해 원스톱 창업지원(기술창업기업 발굴·보육·투자·기반 시설(인프라)) 체계를 구축하고, 지역기업과 국내외 투자자가 정기적으로 교류하며 성장에 필요한 벤처투자를 받을 수 있도록 지원할 계획이다.

또한, 창업기업의 글로벌 교류·투자유치도 적극 지원해, 부산이 아시아 주요 창업도시로 도약하는 데 중추적인 역할을 담당할 것으로 기대된다. 

특히, 창업 극초기부터 기업가치 1조 원 이상 거대 신생기업(유니콘 기업)으로의 도약까지, 성장단계별 맞춤 지원을 통해 창업기업의 지속적인 성장을 도모한다. 아울러, 인력 채용·설비증설·마케팅 등에 필요한 투자자금을 적시에 공급하는 등 매트릭스 지원체계를 통해 지역 창업 생태계를 안정적인 삼각형 구조로 변화시킬 계획이다.
