[브레이크뉴스=배종태 기자] 국내 최대 규모의 코미디 축제인 부산국제코미디페스티벌(이하 BICF)이 지역 문화예술의 중심축인 부산진문화재단과 뜻깊은 동행을 시작했다.

지난 16일 부산진구청에서 열린 업무협약(MOU) 체결식에서 양 기관은 ‘지역 공연예술 활성화’와 ‘시민 문화 향유 기회 확대’를 위한 긴밀한 협력을 공식화했다.

이번 협약은 단순한 업무 제휴를 넘어, 코미디라는 장르가 가진 대중성과 예술성을 지역사회에 더욱 깊이 뿌리내리게 하려는 야심 찬 전략의 일환이다.
