[브레이크뉴스=배종태 기자] 부산진구(구청장 김영욱)는 지난 7월 1일 ‘부산진구 지속가능발전 비전’을 선포하고, 사람과 자연이 조화를 이루는 지속가능한 도시로의 도약을 공식 선언했다.

 

이번 비전 선포는 민선 지방자치 30년 및 민선8기 3주년을 기념하여 개최된 것으로, 부산진구는 2022년 10월 부산시 자치구 중 최초로 「지속가능발전 기본법」에 따른 조례를 제정하고, 유엔 지속가능발전목표(UN-SDGs)를 반영한 장기 발전 전략을 수립한 바 있다.

 

부산진구가 제시한 지속가능발전 비전은 ‘사람과 자연이 함께 번영하는 지속가능 중심도시 부산진구’이다. 이 비전 실현을 위해 2044년까지 추진할 5대 전략과 17개 지속가능발전 목표(Jin-SDGs)가 발표됐다.

 

5대 전략은 유엔 지속가능발전목표(UN-SDGs)의 핵심 가치인 5P(People, Planet, Prosperity, Peace, Partnership)를 바탕으로 구성되었으며, 세부 내용은 ▲사람(People): 사회적 약자와 동행하는 건강한 행복공동체 ▲자연(Planet): 환경과의 조화로 기후변화에 대응하는 쾌적한 녹색공동체 ▲번영(Prosperity): 성장하는 역량·경제·산업으로 모두가 누리는 편리한 도시공동체 ▲공정(Peace): 평등한 법과 제도로 차별 없고 청렴하며 안전한 포용공동체 ▲협력(Partnership): 구민과 행정이 함께 소통하는 열린 자치공동체 등이다.

 

부산진구는 Jin-SDGs 목표로 ‘사회안전망 확충’, ‘창업·정보 인프라 기반 지역산업 혁신’, ‘자연·문화·소비가 어우러지는 관광도시 위상 강화’ 등 총 17개 목표를 설정하였으며, 이를 달성하기 위해 40개 세부목표, 74개 지표, 104개 추진과제를 마련하고 단계적으로 이행할 계획이다.

 

한편, 부산진구는 지난 6월 29일 대구에서 열린 ‘제5회 자유대한민국희망연대 대상 시상식’에서 지방행정 부문 대상을 수상했다.
