[브레이크뉴스=배종태 기자] BNK금융그룹(회장 빈대인)은 최근 경남 산청과 울산 등 남부지역에 쏟아진 집중호우로 심각한 피해를 입은 이재민들을 돕기 위해 3억 원의 성금을 기탁하고, 긴급 구호 활동에 나섰다고 21일 밝혔다.

지난 16일부터 이어진 폭우로 산청 지역을 비롯한 경남 곳곳이 침수 및 단전·단수 등 심각한 피해를 입었다. 특히 산청은 지난 3월 대형 산불 피해에 이어 또 다시 재해가 겹치면서 조속한 수습과 복구가 절실한 상황이다.

BNK금융은 이 같은 위기 상황에 발 빠르게 대응하기 위해 그룹 차원의 ‘긴급재난 구호 봉사대’를 가동 중이며, 지난 20일 경남 의령군에 봉사대를 파견해 침수 주택의 가재도구 정리와 토사 제거 등 복구 작업을 실시했다.

BNK는 의령 지역 복구를 시작으로 피해 규모가 확인되는 대로 산청, 합천, 울산 등으로 봉사대를 추가 파견하고, 긴급 생활 물품도 전달할 계획이다. 이에 따라 오는 22일부터는 산청과 울산 지역에 긴급재난 구호 봉사대가 추가 투입된다.

BNK금융은 부산은행과 경남은행을 통해 자체 운영 중인 ‘재해복구 금융지원 제도’에 따라 피해사실확인서를 제출한 기업에 경영안정자금을 우선 지원하며, 기존 대출금에 대한 금리 감면, 신규 대출 시 금리 우대, 대출 이자 및 원리금 상환 유예 등의 금융 지원도 시행한다. 아울러 피해를 입은 이재민 개인에게는 긴급생활지원자금을 제공하고, 송금·환전 수수료도 면제할 방침이다.
