[브레이크뉴스=배종태 기자] 부산시 상수도사업본부는 호치민시 수도공사 방문단이 24일까지 부산을 방문해 양 도시 상수도 발전과 우호 협력 증진을 위한 교류 일정을 진행한다고 22일 밝혔다.

방문단은 쩐 주이 홍 호치민시 수도공사 떤히앱 정수장 기술공학부 부장을 단장으로 구성됐다.

21일에는 덕산정수장과 수질연구소를 방문해 부산의 고도정수처리기술을 견학하고, 한국주철관공업㈜ 본사를 찾아 덕타일 주철관 제조공정을 살펴보며 산업 기반 기술 협력 방안을 논의했다.

22일 오전에는 명장정수장을 방문해 정수처리 시설을 견학하고, 오후 3시 30분 부산시 상수도사업본부 7층 회의실에서 제16회 부산-호치민시 상수도행정교류회의를 개최했다.

교류회의에는 양 도시 방문단과 관계 공무원 등 15여 명이 참석하며 ‘상수도 원격검침시스템’을 주제로 검침 시스템 현황, 원격검침 추진 성과, 유지보수 비용 등 당면 현안을 공유한다.

특히 ICT와 IoT 기술을 활용한 미래형 검침 시스템 구축 방향에 대해 심도 있는 논의가 이뤄질 예정이다.

부산-호치민시 상수도행정교류회의는 2004년 부산시의 해외 세일즈 순방 후속 조치로 2005년부터 2019년까지 매년 개최된 상수도 분야 협력 행사로, 코로나19로 6년간 중단됐다가 이번에 재개됐다.

방문단은 23일 영화의전당과 APEC 누리마루 등 부산의 주요 시설을 방문하며 일정을 마무리할 계획이다.

김병기 상수도사업본부장은 이번 회의가 양 도시 상수도 기술 발전과 자매도시 간 우호 협력 강화에 크게 기여할 것이라고 밝혔다.

The Busan Waterworks Authority announced on October 22 that the delegation from the Ho Chi Minh City Water Supply Company will visit Busan until the 24th, to promote the development of water supply systems and enhance friendly cooperation between the two cities.

The delegation is led by Tran Duy Hong, Head of the Technical Engineering Department at the Tan Hiep Water Purification Plant of the Ho Chi Minh City Water Supply Company.

On the 21st, the delegation visited the Deoksan Water Purification Plant and the Water Quality Research Institute to observe Busan’s advanced water treatment technologies and also toured the headquarters of Korea Cast Iron Pipe Corporation to review the manufacturing process of ductile cast iron pipes and discuss industrial technology cooperation.

On the morning of the 22nd, they toured the Myeongjang Water Purification Plant and in the afternoon at 3:30 p.m., the 16th Busan-Ho Chi Minh City Waterworks Administrative Exchange Meeting will be held in the conference room on the 7th floor of the Busan Waterworks Authority.

About 15 participants, including delegation members from both cities and relevant government officials, will attend the meeting where the main topic will be the ‘Water Meter Remote Reading System.’ They will share information about the current status of the metering systems, achievements in the remote meter reading initiatives, maintenance cost challenges, and engage in in-depth discussions on future directions utilizing ICT and IoT technologies.

The Busan-Ho Chi Minh City Waterworks Administrative Exchange Meeting started as a follow-up to Busan’s overseas sales tour in 2004 and was held annually from 2005 to 2019 as a forum for cooperation in the water supply sector. It was suspended for six years due to COVID-19 but has now resumed.

The delegation plans to visit major facilities in Busan such as the Busan Cinema Center and the APEC Nurimaru on the 23rd to conclude their visit.

Kim Byung-ki, Head of the Busan Waterworks Authority, stated that this meeting will significantly contribute not only to the development of waterworks systems in both cities but also to strengthening and promoting the friendship and cooperation as sister cities.
