[브레이크뉴스=배종태 기자] 부산 서구 모지포 삼거리에서 27일 오후 2시 40분경 하수관이 파열되면서 도로에 깊이 약 3미터, 반경 5미터 크기의 싱크홀이 발생했다.

부산서부경찰서에 따르면 노후된 하수관이 수압을 견디지 못해 내부에서부터 분출되며 도로 일부가 붕괴된 것으로 추정된다.

당시 순찰 중이던 교통 경찰관이 현장을 최초로 발견해 즉시 라바콘을 설치하고 차량 우회 및 교통 통제를 실시하는 등 안전 조치를 취했다. 별도의 112 신고는 접수되지 않았다.

현재 오후 6시 기준 환경관리공단 보수팀이 현장 교통을 정리 중이며, 정확한 원인 조사와 함께 보수 작업이 이어질 예정이다.

[Here is the English version of the article] At around 2:40 p.m. on the 27th, a sinkhole approximately 3 meters deep and 5 meters in radius formed on the road at Mojipo Three-way Intersection in Seo-gu, Busan, after a sewer pipe burst.

According to the Busan Seobu Police Station, it is presumed that an aging sewer pipe, unable to withstand water pressure, burst from within, causing part of the road to collapse.

A traffic police officer on patrol was the first to discover the scene and immediately placed traffic cones, redirected vehicles, and implemented traffic control measures to ensure safety. No separate 112 emergency report was filed.

As of 6 p.m., the Environmental Management Corporation’s maintenance team is managing traffic at the site, while repair work and an investigation into the exact cause are underway.
