[브레이크뉴스=배종태 기자] 입시 경쟁이 치열한 예술계 학원들을 대상으로 부산시교육청이 투명하고 건전한 학원 운영을 유도하기 위한 특별연수에 나선다. 무용·음악 등 예능계열 학원을 대상으로 부산에서 처음 시행되는 맞춤형 연수다.

부산시교육청은 21일 오전 부산진구 교육연구정보원에서 무용·음악 등 입시 과정을 운영 중인 400여 개 예능계열 학원 관계자를 대상으로 ‘예능계열 학원 특별연수’를 실시한다고 20일 밝혔다. 이번 연수는 지난 9월 B 예술중·고 특별감사 이후 발표된 예술중·고 업무 정상화 대책의 일환으로 마련됐다.  

기존의 학원·교습소 정기연수와 달리, 현장에서 적발된 실제 사례를 중심으로 한 맞춤형·사례형 교육이 특징이다. 학부모와 학생의 권익을 보호하고 불법·편법 운영을 예방하는 데 초점을 맞췄다. 특히 학원 등록 교습비 외에 발생하는 대회 참가비, 무대 의상비, 작품비, 발표회비 등의 산정 기준과 사용 절차를 명확히 안내할 예정이다.

김석준 교육감은 “이번 특별연수를 계기로 예능계 학원들이 투명하고 건전한 운영 문화를 정착시키길 기대한다”며 “앞으로도 주기적인 연수로 실효성 있는 정책과 지원을 지속 추진하겠다”고 말했다.

The Busan Metropolitan Office of Education will hold special training on Friday for operators of art academies offering college entrance courses in dance and music, aiming to promote transparent and fair management.  

The training, the first of its kind in Busan, is designed specifically for art-focused academies. It follows a special audit of an arts middle and high school conducted in September and forms part of a broader plan to normalize the administration of arts education institutions, the office said Thursday.  

About 400 academy operators are expected to attend the session at the Busan Education Research and Information Institute in Yangjeong-dong, Busanjin District.  

Unlike regular training programs for private academies, the new session will feature case-based and customized content reflecting the unique characteristics of the arts field. It will highlight real cases identified during recent inspections and provide detailed guidance on mandatory compliance requirements.  

The training will also clarify cost standards and procedures related to additional fees such as competition entry, stage costumes, production materials, and recital expenses, to prevent illegal or unfair practices.  

“I hope this training will help art academies establish a culture of transparency and sound management,” Superintendent Kim Seok-jun said. “The education office will continue to promote practical policies and support through regular training sessions.”
