[브레이크뉴스=배종태 기자] 부산시는 26일 오전 제3회 부산시 인공지능위원회를 열고 소상공인 분야의 인공지능(AI) 전환 지원 방안을 논의했다.  

이번 회의에는 케이티(KT), 엘지유플러스(LGU+), 식파마 등 AI 관련 기업과 소상공인연합회, 부산정보산업진흥원, 부산경제진흥원 등 관계자 30여 명이 참석했다.  

회의는 인공지능위원회 추진 현황 보고를 시작으로 주요 기업의 소상공인 대상 AI 플랫폼 사례 발표, 소상공인연합회 간담회 순으로 진행됐다. 참석자들은 AI 기술이 적용된 고객 데이터 분석, 맞춤형 마케팅, 인공지능 콜봇, 서빙로봇 등 다양한 활용 사례를 공유하며 현장의 의견을 나눴다.  

시는 회의에서 수렴한 소상공인들의 서비스 도입 과정상의 어려움과 개선 의견을 향후 지역 맞춤형 인공지능 지원 정책에 반영할 계획이다.  

이어 오후 2부 회의에서는 조선·해양 산업의 핵심 제조 공정에 인공지능 기술을 접목하기 위한 논의가 이어졌다. 조선 및 해양 관련 기업 전문가들이 참석해 해양사형주조와 용접 공정의 AI 기술 적용 방안과 도입 사례를 공유하며 산업 디지털 전환의 방향성을 모색했다.  

부산시는 앞서 지난 9월 ‘부산시 인공지능위원회’ 출범식에서 ‘월드클래스 해양 인공지능 허브 부산’을 목표로 1조 원 규모의 ‘웨이브(WAVE) 프로젝트’를 발표한 바 있다. 이어 10월 열린 제2회 위원회에서는 해양산업의 인공지능 전환과 일자리 창출 방안을 논의하고, 해양 AI 일자리 전담팀(TF)을 구성했다.  

박형준 부산시장은 “인공지능과 디지털 전환은 소상공인 경쟁력 강화의 핵심”이라며 “부산을 대한민국의 해양 특화 AI 도시이자, 모든 시민이 인공지능 기술의 혜택을 체감하는 포용적 도시로 만들어 가겠다”고 말했다.  

[Here is the English news article] Busan City Discusses AI Transition Support for Small Business Owners at AI Committee Meeting

Busan City held the 3rd Busan City Artificial Intelligence (AI) Committee meeting at the City Hall on the morning of the 26th to discuss measures to support the AI transition in the small business sector.

About 30 people attended the meeting, including AI-related companies such as KT, LGU+, and SikPama, as well as representatives from the Korea Federation of Small Business (KFSB), Busan Information Industry Promotion Agency, and Busan Economic Promotion Agency.

The meeting proceeded in the order of reporting the current status of the AI Committee's initiatives, presentations on AI platform cases for small business owners by major companies, and a discussion with the KFSB. Attendees shared various utilization cases, such as customer data analysis with AI technology, customized marketing, AI callbots, and serving robots, and exchanged on-site opinions.

The city plans to reflect the difficulties and suggestions for improvement regarding service introduction gathered from small business owners in this meeting into future region-specific AI support policies.

Following this, the second part of the meeting in the afternoon continued the discussion on integrating AI technology into core manufacturing processes in the shipbuilding and marine industries. Experts from shipbuilding and marine-related companies attended to share application methods and implementation cases of AI technology in marine sand casting and welding processes, seeking directions for industrial digital transformation.

Busan City previously announced the WAVE Project, a 1 trillion KRW scale initiative, with the goal of becoming a 'World-Class Marine AI Hub, Busan' at the inauguration ceremony of the Busan City AI Committee in September. Following that, the 2nd Committee meeting in October discussed the AI transition of the marine industry and job creation measures, leading to the formation of a dedicated Marine AI Job Task Force (TF).

Busan Mayor Park Heong-joon said, “AI and digital transformation are the core of strengthening the competitiveness of small business owners,” and added, “We will develop Busan into Korea's marine-specialized AI city and an **inclusive city** where all citizens can experience the benefits of AI technology.”
