[브레이크뉴스= 배종태 기자] 2025 광복로 겨울빛 트리축제가 부산 원도심 겨울밤을 수놓는 대표 빛 축제로 돌아온다.

축제는 12월 5일부터 내년 2월 22일까지 80일간 광복로와 산복도로 일원에서 이어지며, ‘K-누리(광복에서 세계로)’를 주제로 K-컬처 감성을 입힌 야간 경관을 선보인다.

축제 개막과 운영
2025 광복로 겨울빛 트리축제 점등식은 12월 5일 금요일 오후 5시 30분, 광복로 시티스폿 메인트리 앞 특설무대에서 열려 본격적인 빛의 향연을 알린다.부산 중구는 연말·연초 도심을 찾는 시민과 관광객이 장기간 관람·체험할 수 있도록 2월 22일까지 80일 일정으로 축제를 운영한다.

메인트리와 빛 조형물
축제의 상징인 시티스폿 메인트리는 입체감을 살리는 아나몰픽 영상기법을 적용해 미디어트리 형태로 설치되며, 크리스마스·새해 등 시기별 주제에 맞춘 영상 콘텐츠가 상영된다.

광복로 분수광장과 거리 일대에는 대형 트리, 빛분수, 미디어파사드, 감응형 미디어콘텐츠와 함께 K-POP과 한국 전통문화를 형상화한 다양한 조형물이 배치돼 포토존 역할을 한다.

공연·체험 프로그램
축제 기간에는 광복로 겨울빛 콘서트 등 거리공연과 더불어 청년공간을 활용한 크리스마스 체험 프로그램, 방문객이 참여하는 점등 퍼포먼스, K-콘텐츠 콘셉트의 코스튬 이벤트 등 참여형 프로그램이 마련된다. 발길이 이어지는 야간 시간대에 공연과 체험을 집중 배치해 상권 활성화와 체류 시간 확대를 노린다는 계획이다.

산복도로 ‘빛의 거리’ 확장
광복로가 도심 속 화려한 빛을 책임진다면, 산복도로는 부산항과 도심 야경을 한눈에 담는 감성 야경 코스로 꾸며진다.[3] 혜광고등학교에서 영주동 오름길 엘리베이터까지 이어지는 구간에 ‘산복하늘 빛의 거리’가 조성되며, 영주동 하늘눈 전망대에서는 12월 8일 오후 5시 30분 점등식을 열어 미디어트리와 고보조명, 포토존 등을 공개한다.

부산 중구는 광복로 겨울빛 트리축제를 통해 원도심의 야간 경쟁력을 높이고, K-문화와 지역 자원을 결합한 차별화된 겨울 축제로 자리매김하겠다는 구상이다.

중구 관계자는 연말연시 도심을 찾는 시민과 국내외 관광객에게 희망과 위로의 메시지를 전하는 ‘빛 축제’가 되도록 프로그램과 경관 연출을 지속 보완하겠다고 밝혔다.

The 2025 Gwangbok-ro Winter Light Tree Festival is set to light up central Busan with colorful media art, symbolic trees, and K-culture–inspired installations throughout the winter. Building on its history as a Christmas tree and light festival in Nampo-dong, this year’s edition emphasizes immersive night scenery and photo spots that connect shopping streets with cultural experiences.

Theme and main highlights
The festival adopts a K-culture–themed concept that combines pop culture, local history, and interactive light displays, creating a nighttime promenade where visitors can walk, take photos, and enjoy performances. Large main trees, light tunnels, and projection-style media façades form the core attractions, while side streets host smaller sculptures and themed photo zones.

Programs and atmospher

In addition to the illuminations, the festival period traditionally features street performances, seasonal concerts, and small-scale events designed to draw more people into the old downtown in the evenings. The overall aim is to boost local businesses and present Gwangbok-ro as a must-visit winter destination, alongside other Busan light festivals in areas such as Haeundae and Seomyeon.
