[브레이크뉴스=배종태 기자] 부산시와 한국무역협회 부산지역본부는 12일 오후 5시 파라다이스호텔 부산에서 ‘2025 부산 무역의 날’ 행사를 열고 지역 수출 활성화에 기여한 기업과 유공자들을 포상했다.

 

올해로 27회를 맞은 이번 행사는 어려운 대외 여건 속에서도 지역 경제 성장을 이끈 수출기업의 사기 진작과 수출 장려 분위기 확산을 위해 마련됐다.  

 

지역 수출 공로자 163명 포상… 산업훈장·수출탑 등 전년보다 확대  

이날 행사에는 박형준 부산시장과 이수태 부산기업협의회 회장을 비롯해 수출 유공 기업 대표, 관련 기관 관계자 등 250여 명이 참석했다.  

 

박 시장은 부산 수출 경쟁력 강화에 기여한 유공자 163명에게 정부 및 시장 포상을 직접 수여했다. 올해는 산업 발전 공로가 인정된 산업훈장·포장 수상 건수가 지난해(2점)보다 늘어난 5점으로 확대됐으며, 5천만 불 이상 수출의 탑을 받은 기업도 7곳으로 증가해 지역 수출 기반의 성장세를 입증했다.  

 

‘2025 부산 수출 대상’은 부산시 명문향토기업인 ㈜엔케이(대표 박제완)가 차지했으며, 우수상은 ㈜아이이엔한창(대표 장연덕), ㈜디케이오스텍(대표 김학규), ㈜케어플러스원(대표 김도형)이 선정됐다.  

 

또한 ㈜아이이엔한창 김승환 과장을 포함해 수출 유공자 10명과 통상 진흥 유공자 3명이 각각 표창을 받았다. 이 밖에도 정부포상 44명, 수출탑 수상 기업 97곳, 한국무역협회장 표창 기업 5곳이 이름을 올렸다.  

 

‘수출 유공 최우수 광역지자체’ 선정… 위기 대응 성과 인정  

부산시는 올해 복합적인 통상 위기에도 민·관 협력을 강화해 선제 대응한 성과를 인정받아 제62회 무역의 날에서 국무총리 표창(기관상)을 수상하며 ‘수출 유공 최우수 광역자치단체’로 선정됐다.  

 

올해 10월 기준 부산의 수출액은 117억 달러로 전년 대비 2.6% 감소했지만, 3분기 들어 5.4% 증가세로 반등 조짐을 보이고 있다. 시는 각종 수출 지원 정책의 효과가 점차 가시화되며 회복세가 이어질 것으로 보고 있다.  

 

연초부터 운영 중인 ‘통상대책반’은 관세 대응 간담회와 현장 방문을 통해 기업의 의견을 꾸준히 청취하고, 피해 기업에 긴급자금 및 물류비를 지원하며, 수출 바우처와 신용보증료 지원 범위를 확대하는 등 대응 체계를 강화해 왔다.

박형준 시장은 “세계 경기의 불확실성이 큰 상황에서도 부산 경제를 묵묵히 지탱해주신 기업인들께 감사드린다”며 “앞으로도 기업의 어려움을 가까이에서 살피고 변화하는 통상 환경 속에서도 흔들림 없이 수출에 전념할 수 있도록 지원을 아끼지 않겠다”고 밝혔다. 이어 “부산이 대한민국을 넘어 글로벌 교역을 선도하는 세계도시로 도약할 수 있도록 기업들의 지속적인 관심과 협력을 부탁드린다”고 덧붙였다.

Busan Marks “2025 Busan Trade Day,” Honoring Local Export Achievements and Contributors

 

The Busan Metropolitan Government and the Korea International Trade Association (KITA) Busan office hosted the **“2025 Busan Trade Day”** ceremony at the Paradise Hotel Busan at 5 p.m. on December 12 to recognize local exporters and individuals who have made significant contributions to the city’s export growth. Now in its 27th year, the annual event celebrates the national Trade Day (December 5) and aims to boost morale among export-oriented companies amid challenging global economic conditions.  

 

163 Export Awardees Recognized, More Industrial Medals and Export Towers Than Last Year  

Busan Mayor Park Heong-joon, Lee Soo-tae, Chairman of the Busan Business Council, and around 250 representatives from export companies and related organizations attended the ceremony.  

 

Mayor Park personally presented government and municipal awards to 163 recipients who contributed to strengthening the city’s export competitiveness. This year, the number of national industrial medals and orders granted to Busan-based exporters increased from two in 2024 to five, while the number of companies earning the $50 million Export Tower Award or higher rose to seven, signaling steady growth in the region’s export base.  

 

Leading this year’s honorees, NK Co., Ltd. (CEO Park Je-wan), a renowned local enterprise, received the 2025 Busan Export Grand Prize. The Excellence Awards went to IEN Hanchang Co., Ltd. (CEO Jang Yeon-deok), DK OSTech Co., Ltd. (CEO Kim Hak-kyu), and CarePlusOne Co., Ltd. (CEO Kim Do-hyung).  

 

In the individual categories, 10 people were recognized for export excellence—including **Kim Seung-hwan of IEN Hanchang—and three individuals were honored for their contributions to trade promotion. In addition, 44 business leaders earned government commendations, 97 companies received Export Tower awards, and five firms were recognized by the KITA Chairman.  

 

Busan Named “Top Local Government for Export Performance” amid Trade Challenges  

Despite complex trade challenges, including tariff issues from the United States, Busan’s proactive public-private cooperation was recognized nationally this year. The city received the Prime Minister’s Award at the 62nd Trade Day event, being named **the Best Metropolitan Government for Export Performance.  

 

As of October 2025, the city’s exports reached USD 11.7 billion, down 2.6% year-on-year, but exports rebounded by 5.4% in the third quarter—showing signs of recovery due to a series of city-led export support programs.  

 

Through its **Trade Response Task Force** launched early this year, Busan has held company briefings and field consultations on tariff countermeasures, listened to exporters’ needs, and provided emergency financial aid to affected firms. The city also expanded support for **logistics costs, export vouchers, and trade credit guarantees**, minimizing the impact of global trade disruptions on local companies.  

 

Mayor Park expressed gratitude to the local business community, saying, *“Despite multiple global headwinds this year, our companies have worked tirelessly to sustain Busan’s economy.”* He added, *“The city will continue to stay close to our exporters, helping them focus on trade activities without disruption, even amid a volatile global environment.”*  

 

He emphasized that Busan will keep striving to become a global trading hub city, asking for continued interest and cooperation from the region’s business leaders.
