[브레이크뉴스=배종태 기자] 부산시가 2026년 글로벌 해양허브도시 도약을 목표로 내년도 시정 운영 방향과 핵심 전략을 점검했다. 시는 29일과 30일 박형준 시장 주재로 ‘2026년도 시정 업무보고회’를 열고, 분야별 핵심 현안과 혁신 과제를 논의했다.  

이번 업무보고회는 부산정보산업진흥원과 하단복합센터에서 각각 진행됐으며, 박형준 시장을 비롯해 시 실·국·본부장과 산하기관장이 참석했다. 시는 민선 8기 시정 철학을 바탕으로 내년 부산의 변화와 혁신을 위한 실천 의지를 다지는 데 중점을 뒀다.  

29일 첫날 보고회에서는 ▲미래신산업·혁신성장 ▲도시안전·시민행복 분야를 중심으로 부산의 민생활력 제고와 혁신생태계 조성 방안이 논의됐다. 회의에 앞서 개최된 ‘CES 혁신상 수상기업 전시·시연회’에서는 미래산업을 선도할 지역 기업의 성과가 소개됐다.

30일에는 하단복합센터에서 ▲미래혁신거점 ▲친환경·도시활력 분야 업무보고가 이어졌다. 시는 도시공간 혁신을 통해 글로벌 허브도시 기반을 강화하고, 외국인 관광객 500만 시대를 여는 도시 활력 전략을 모색했다. 보고회에 앞서 박 시장은 하단복합센터 내 15분 도시 핵심시설을 둘러보고, 관계자들과 함께 지역 행복공동체 확산 방안을 논의했다.  

박형준 시장은 “민선 8기 시정은 글로벌 경쟁력을 바탕으로 미래 성장의 초석을 마련했다”며, “2026년은 부산이 남부권 핵심성장 거점으로 자리매김하고, 세계 5대 해양허브도시로 비상하는 한 해가 될 수 있도록 모든 역량을 집중하겠다”고 강조했다.

The Busan Metropolitan Government held its 2026 City Administration Briefing Sessions on December 29 and 30, reaffirming its vision to transform the city into a leading global maritime hub. The two-day sessions, presided over by Mayor Park Hyung-jun, brought together senior city officials and heads of affiliated organizations to review key policies and strategies for the coming year.  

The briefings took place at the Busan IT Industry Promotion Agency and the Hadan Complex Center. The meetings focused on sharing the city’s policy directions for 2026 and solidifying a unified commitment to change and innovation under the core philosophy of the 8th popularly elected city administration.  

On December 29, discussions centered on *future industries and innovation-driven growth* as well as *urban safety and citizens’ well-being*. Participants examined plans to revitalize Busan’s urban economy, strengthen its innovation ecosystem, and enhance the quality of life for its citizens. Ahead of the session, a **CES Innovation Award-winning Companies Showcase** was held, highlighting local enterprises leading the city’s future industrial innovation.  

The following day, December 30, the reports continued at the Hadan Complex Center, focusing on *urban innovation hubs*, *eco-friendly growth*, and *urban vitality*. The city discussed strategies to further its global hub city development, revitalizing urban spaces and expanding the number of foreign visitors from three million to five million annually. Before the session, Mayor Park toured key “15-Minute City” facilities at the Hadan Complex Center and exchanged ideas with site officials on expanding community-based urban development models.  

Mayor Park stated, “The 8th municipal administration has strengthened Busan’s global competitiveness and laid the foundation for future growth,” adding, “We will continue our efforts to position Busan as the core growth hub of southern Korea and one of the world’s top five maritime hub cities in 2026.”
