다카이치 사나에 일본 총리가 13일(현지시간) 한·일 정상회담 후 "핵미사일 문제 포함 북한에 대한 대응에 대해 북의 완전한 비핵화를 위해 일-한, 일-한-미가 긴밀 대응하며 연계하기로 다시 한 번 확인했다"고 밝혔다. 

다카이치 총리는 이날 오후 일본 나라현 회담장에서 이재명 대통령과 회담 후 공동 언론 발표에서 이같이 말한 후 "(납북 일본인 문제는) 납치 문제 조속 해결을 위해 이 대통령이 아주 강한 지지를 해줬고, 진심으로 감사하다"고 밝혔다.

그러면서 "양국을 둘러싼 전략적 환경이 갈수록 엄중해지는 관계, 일·한 관계·,일·한·미·연대 중요성은 더욱더 높아지고 있다"며 "대통령과는 이 같은 일·한 관계 전략적 중요성에 대한 인식을 공유하고 양국이 지역 안정에 연대해 역할을 수행해야겠다는 점을 확인했다"고 밝혔다.

또 "일·한·미 간 안보협력 포함 전략적 공조 중요성에 대해 인식할 수 있었고 깊은 논의를 했다"며 "앞으로도 긴밀히 소통해 나가겠다"고 말했다.

이어 "양국 관계의 균형 있는 진전 관련해 대통령과 인식을 같이하며 개별적 협력 안건에 대해서도 중요 진전을 볼 수 있었다"며 "경제 안보 분야에서 전략적이고 서로에 이익되는 협력을 추진할 수 있도록 관계 부서 간 논의를 심화시키자는데 의견을 같이했다"고 밝혔다.

더불어 "공급망 관련 심도 있는 이야기를 나눴으며 국경을 넘어서는 조직적 사기는 일·한 공동과제가 됐다"며 "대통령과 이런 조직적 사기 대응에 대해서도 지금까지의 협력을 더욱 가속하기 위한 문서를 작성키로 합의 봤다"고 전했다.

다카이치 총리는 "조세이 탄광서 발견된 유골에 대한 DNA 감정에 협력하기 위해 일·한 간 조정이 진전되는 부분을 환영한다"며 "심도 있는 논의를 했으며 전략적 관계하에 일·한 간 긴밀한 연계를 확인했다"고 덧붙였다.

Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi announced on the 13th (local time) after the Japan-South Korea summit that "regarding the response to North Korea, including the nuclear missile issue, we have once again confirmed that Japan, South Korea, Japan, South Korea, and the United States will closely cooperate and work together to achieve North Korea's complete denuclearization."

He added, "We agreed to deepen discussions between relevant departments to pursue strategic and mutually beneficial cooperation in the areas of economic security."

He also said, "We had an in-depth discussion about supply chains, and cross-border organized fraud has become a joint task for Japan and Korea," and "We agreed with the President to prepare a document to further accelerate our cooperation to date on responding to such organized fraud."
