[브레이크뉴스=배종태 기자] 부산시가 수도권 출향인사 400여 명을 초청해 ‘글로벌 허브도시 부산’ 비전을 공유하는 대규모 신년인사회를 성황리에 개최했다.

 

박형준 부산시장은 14일 오후 3시 서울 중구 롯데호텔 서울에서 열린 수도권 출향인 신년인사회에서 “2025년은 부산의 목표인 ‘글로벌 허브도시’가 먼 미래가 아닌 눈앞에 다가왔음을 실감한 한 해”라며 “부산 사람 모두의 힘이 모이면 부산이 글로벌 도시로 우뚝 서고, 그 힘으로 대한민국의 미래가 달라질 것”이라고 강조했다.

 

출향인 각계 인사 400여 명 운집  

부산시, 부산시의회, 부산상공회의소가 공동 주최한 이번 행사는 정치·경제·교육·문화 등 대한민국 주축으로 활약하는 수도권 출향인 400여 명이 한자리에 모인 대형 네트워킹의 장이었다.  

 

부산에서는 박형준 시장을 필두로 부산상공회의소 회장, 지역 주요 경제인들이 참석해 출향인사들과 2026년 부산의 글로벌 도약 전략을 심도 있게 논의했다.

  

행사는 재경부산고 동문합창단 ‘아스라이’(단장 서병호·지휘자 오성주)의 감동적인 오프닝 공연으로 시작됐다. 부산고 졸업생 40명으로 구성된 이 합창단은 매년 정기연주회와 봉사활동을 펼치며 활동 중이며, 이날 ‘돌아와요 부산항에’, ‘님이 오시는지’ 등 고향 부산을 노래해 출향인사들의 마음을 사로잡았다.

메인 행사인 ‘부산 미래 비전 브리핑’에서 박 시장은 “늘리고, 높이고, 풀어냈던” 2025년 부산의 주요 성과를 상세히 소개하며 출향인들의 자부심을 일깨웠다.

박 시장은 “2026년 부산의 도약을 위해 출향인사 여러분 모두가 힘을 모아주시기를 당부드린다”며 대한민국 허브를 넘어서는 글로벌 허브도시 부산의 청사진을 제시해 뜨거운 호응을 얻었다.

 

비전 세리머니·정서주 축하공연으로 클라이맥스  

이어진 ‘부산 비전 세리머니’에서는 글로벌 허브도시 도약을 상징하는 화려한 레이저 퍼포먼스가 펼쳐지며 출향인사들의 결의가 하나로 모아졌다.  

 

축하공연은 부산 출신 트롯 가수이자 부산시 소통홍보대사인 정서주 씨가 맡아 흥겨운 무대로 행사를 뜨겁게 달궜다.

 

고향사랑기부제 1위 성과 자랑하며 참여 독려  

행사장 입구에는 고향사랑기부제 홍보 부스가 설치돼 부산의 다양한 특산품 답례품을 선보였고, 부산시는 지난해 역대 최고액인 42억 원 이상의 기부금을 모아 특·광역시 중 1위를 차지한 바 있다고 소개했다. 시는 2026년 추진하는 지정기부 사업 ‘내 가족 생명 살리는 기부’ 등을 강조하며 출향인들에게 고향 발전을 위한 지속적인 관심과 실질적 참여를 호소했다.

400 Key Figures from Busan Diaspora Gather

Jointly hosted by Busan City, Busan City Council, and the Busan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, this event brought together approximately 400 prominent Busan expatriates actively leading in politics, economy, education, and culture across the capital region, creating a major networking platform.  

From Busan, Mayor Park Hyung-jun led the delegation, joined by the Busan Chamber president and key local business leaders, engaging in in-depth discussions with expatriates on Busan's global leap strategies for 2026.

 

The event opened with a touching performance by the 'Asurai' Alumni Chorus of Busan High School (Director: Seo Byung-ho, Conductor: Oh Sung-joo).  

Composed of 40 Busan High School alumni, this chorus actively holds annual regular concerts and volunteer performances; on this day, they captivated the audience's hearts with songs evoking hometown Busan, such as 'Come Back to Busan Port' and 'Is That You Coming, My Love?'

 

Mayor Park Presents Busan Future Vision Briefing  

In the main event, the 'Busan Future Vision Briefing,' Mayor Park detailed Busan's key achievements in 2025—"expanding, elevating, and realizing"—to awaken pride among expatriates.  

He urged, "I ask all expatriates to join forces for Busan's leap in 2026," presenting a blueprint for Busan to evolve beyond a national hub into a global hub city, earning enthusiastic applause.

 

Vision Ceremony and Jung Seo-joo's Performance Climax

The subsequent 'Busan Vision Ceremony' featured a spectacular laser performance symbolizing the collective resolve for Busan's global hub ascent, uniting the expatriates' determination.  

The celebratory performance was delivered by Busan native trot singer Jung Seo-joo, serving as Busan City's communication promotion ambassador, heating up the event with an exuberant stage.

 

Showcasing Hometown Love Donation Success, Urging Participation 

A Hometown Love Donation promotion booth at the venue entrance showcased Busan's diverse specialty products as thank-you gifts, highlighting that Busan raised over 4.2 billion won last year—the highest ever—topping all special and metropolitan cities.  

The city emphasized its 2026 designated donation programs like 'Donations to Save Family Lives' and appealed to expatriates for continued attention and active participation in hometown development.
