[브레이크뉴스=배종테 기자] 부산대학교와 부산항만공사가 국제물류 분야 협력을 강화한다.

부산대학교는 부산항만공사와 15일 오전 부산항만공사 4층에서 국제물류 분야 협력을 위한 업무협약(MoU)을 체결했다고 밝혔다.

이번 협약을 통해 양 기관은 국제물류 분야의 공동연구와 기술혁신, 전문인력 양성, 신규사업 발굴 등에 협력하기로 했다. 

주요 협력 과제로는 국제물류 및 항만 운영 관련 공동연구와 기술개발, 학문과 산업을 연계한 교육·연수 프로그램 공동 운영, 신규 사업 및 글로벌 프로젝트 발굴 등이 포함됐다.

양 기관은 부산대의 연구 인프라와 교육 역량, 부산항만공사의 현장 중심 전문성과 글로벌 네트워크가 결합되면서 해운·물류 산업의 혁신 생태계 조성과 지역 및 국가 경쟁력 강화에 기여할 것으로 기대하고 있다.

최재원 부산대 총장은 “양 기관의 시너지를 바탕으로 학문과 산업 현장이 조화를 이루는 협력 모델을 구축해 글로벌 물류산업을 선도할 인재와 성과를 창출하겠다”고 말했다.

Pusan National University (PNU) and the Busan Port Authority (BPA) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to strengthen cooperation in the field of international logistics.

The agreement was signed on the morning of the 15th at BPA headquarters, with PNU President Choi Jae-won and BPA President Song Sung-geun representing their respective institutions.

Under the MoU, the two organizations will collaborate on joint research and technological innovation in international logistics, the cultivation of specialized manpower, and the development of new business opportunities. Key areas of cooperation include joint research and technology development related to international logistics and port operations, co-hosted education and training programs linking academia and industry, and the exploration of new projects and global initiatives.

Through the partnership, the research infrastructure and educational capabilities of PNU are expected to synergize with BPA’s field-oriented expertise and global network, contributing to the creation of an innovative ecosystem in the shipping and logistics industry and enhancing regional and national competitiveness.

PNU President Choi Jae-won said, “By leveraging the synergy between our two institutions, we aim to build a cooperative model that harmonizes academic research with industrial practice and to produce outstanding talent and成果 that will lead global logistics trends.”
