[브레이크뉴스=배종태 기자] 부산북부경찰서는 20일 오전 북구의회를 방문해 ‘2026년 찾아가는 치안정책 설명회’를 열었다. 이번 설명회는 지역 치안 정책 방향을 공유하고, 의회와의 협력 강화를 위해 마련됐다.  

이날 행사에는 박상욱 서장을 비롯한 경찰서 지휘부 9명과 북구의회 의장 및 구의원 14명이 참석했다. 박 서장은 지난해 주요 치안 활동을 보고한 뒤 올해 중점 추진 과제로 ▲보이스피싱·‘노쇼’ 사기 피해 예방 ▲안심마을 조성사업 ▲자율방범대 초소 환경 개선 ▲부산경찰청의 ‘부산 교통 안전하이’ 정책 등을 소개했다.  

경찰은 이날 설명회에서 의원들과 질의응답 시간을 갖고 현안과 주민 의견을 수렴하는 등 소통의 시간을 가졌다.

박상욱 서장은 “관계기관 합동 점검과 협의체 구성에 북구의회의 적극적인 참여가 필요하다”며 “주민 안전과 편의시설 개선을 위한 예산 지원에도 관심을 가져달라”고 당부했다.  

아울러 그는 “가장 중요한 것은 주민의 안전”이라며 “앞으로도 지역의 목소리를 꾸준히 듣고, 주민이 안심할 수 있는 치안 환경 조성에 최선을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.

=Focus on voice phishing prevention and safer neighborhood initiatives

The Busan Bukbu Police Station, led by Chief Park Sang-uk, visited the Buk-gu Council on Tuesday morning to present its “2026 On-site Policing Policy Briefing.” The session was organized to share key policing initiatives and strengthen cooperation with local representatives.  

The meeting brought together nine members of the Bukbu Police leadership, including department heads, as well as the Buk-gu Council chairperson and 14 council members. Chief Park reviewed major policing activities from the past year and outlined key priorities for 2026, including efforts to prevent voice phishing and “no-show” scams, create safer neighborhoods, improve community patrol posts, and support the Busan Police Agency’s “Busan Traffic Safety-Hi” initiative.  

The session also included a Q&A segment, allowing the council members and police to engage in open discussion on local safety issues. Chief Park emphasized the need for the council’s active participation in future joint safety inspections and coordination efforts, along with budget support for improving local safety and facilities.  

“The safety of residents comes first,” Park said. “We will continue to listen to community concerns and do our utmost to build a secure, trustworthy policing environment in which citizens can live with peace of mind.”
