[브레이크뉴스=배종태 기자] 해운대구가 복지 사각지대에 놓인 위기가구를 조기에 발굴하기 위해 ‘위기가구 신고 포상금 제도’를 본격 운영한다.  

이 제도는 실직, 질병, 휴폐업 등으로 어려움에 처한 가구를 주민이 신고하면 포상금을 지급하는 방식으로, 주민 참여를 통한 복지 안전망 강화를 목표로 한다. 조사 결과 신규 기초생활수급자로 선정되면 신고자에게 1건당 5만 원을 지급하며, 연간 최대 20만 원까지 받을 수 있다.  

신고는 위기가구가 거주하는 동 행정복지센터 방문 또는 전화, 위기가구 신고알림 앱, 카카오톡 채널 ‘해운대구SOS톡’을 통해 가능하다. 다만 공무원과 복지 종사자, 통장 등 신고 의무자와 위기가구 본인 및 친족, 기존 수급 가구는 대상에서 제외된다.  

김성수 해운대구청장은 “주변의 작은 관심이 이웃에게 큰 희망이 된다”며 “지역사회 중심의 위기가구 발굴체계를 강화해 복지 사각지대 없는 든든한 안전망을 만들겠다”고 말했다.

Haeundae-gu District has launched a new “Crisis Household Reporting Incentive Program” to identify and support vulnerable households at an early stage.  

Under the program, residents who report struggling neighbors facing job loss, illness, or business closure can receive a reward once the reported household is newly designated as a basic livelihood security recipient. A payment of 50,000 won will be granted per verified case, with an annual cap of 200,000 won.  

Reports can be made through local community welfare centers by phone or in person, via the “Crisis Household Reporting” mobile app, or through the district’s KakaoTalk channel “Haeundae-gu SOS Talk.” However, public officials, welfare workers, community leaders, and the households themselves or their relatives are not eligible for the reward.  

Mayor Kim Seong-su said, “Even the smallest act of concern can bring great hope to a neighbor in need. We will continue to strengthen our community-based crisis detection system to ensure that no one is left behind in the welfare safety net.”
