[브레이크뉴스=배종태 기자] 국민의힘 박형준 부산시장 후보 선대위 서지영 수석대변인은 21일 자신의SNS를 통해 더불어민주당 전재수 부산시장 후보의 전직 보좌진 정 모 씨가 폭로한 '청와대 민정 감찰' 의혹을 정조준하며 전 후보의 직접적인 해명을 촉구했다.

서 수석대변인은 전 후보의 '조기(弔旗) 셔틀' 갑질과 폭언 피해를 폭로한 전직 보좌진 정 씨가 제기한 의혹 중 가장 섬뜩한 대목은 청와대 민정 감찰 언급이라고 지적했다.

정 씨가 공개한 2020년 작성 SNS 글에 따르면, 지난 2017년 8월 대선 직후 전 후보의 최측근인 A 씨가 정 씨를 국회 의원회관으로 불러 "청와대 민정에서 너에 대해 감찰을 해 부산 정치권에 탐문을 했고, 부산에서 우리한테 연락이 왔다"라며 "이 바닥에서 먹고살려면 말조심하라"고 경고했다는 것이다.

이에 정 씨는 무엇이 그리 겁이 나서 청와대까지 끌어들여 내 입을 막으려 했을까라며, 청와대 민정 감찰을 끌어들여 협박한 것이 지어낸 이야기라면 그것 역시 큰 문제 아니냐고 반문했다.

서 수석대변인은 전 후보의 최측근인 A 씨가 청와대 민정까지 들먹이며 정 씨에게 말조심하라고 한 이유는 지금 폭로된 전 후보의 갑질과 폭언 등이 세상 밖으로 나올까 두려워 그를 침묵시키기 위한 것이 아닌지 합리적 의심이 든다고 주장했다.

특히 전직 보좌진에게 청와대 민정이 지켜봤다는 취지의 말이 전달됐다면 이는 개인 간의 감정싸움이 아니라고 강조했다. 실제 사찰이었다면 민간인 사찰인 것이고, 실제 사찰이 없었다고 해도 청와대 민정이라는 권력기관의 이름을 빌려 개인을 겁박한 범죄적 행위라고 날을 세웠다.

또한 정 씨는 A 씨가 '우리'라고 표현했기 때문에 당연히 당시에 전재수 의원도 청와대 민정 감찰 이야기를 알고 있다고 생각했다고 밝혔다. 서 수석대변인은 '친노 전재수 후보와 노무현 청와대에서 함께했던 문재인 전 대통령이 집권한 직후, 자신이 청와대 민정으로부터 감찰을 받았다는 이야기를 들었을 때 정 씨가 어떤 생각이 들었겠냐며 몰아붙였다.

서 수석대변인은 전 후보에게 전 후보가 말하는 '힘 있는 중앙정부와 소통하는 시장'이 바로 이런 것이냐며, 힘없는 개인에게 거대 권력기관의 이름을 들이대는 것이 중앙정부와의 소통이냐고 강력히 따져 물었다.

이와 함께 전 후보를 향해 문재인 청와대 민정이 민간인인 정 씨를 실제로 감찰했는지, 감찰이 없었다면 왜 그런 말이 전직 보좌진에게 전달됐는지, 그리고 본인은 이러한 사실을 알고 있었는지에 대해 명확히 답할 것을 요구했다.

아울러, 정 씨가 "2020년 당시 이 글에 등장한 모든 내용을 전재수도 인정했고 사과한 바 있다"고 밝힌 점을 들어, 전 후보가 이번에도 "허위인 것 같다", "그럴 분이 아니다"라는 말로 회피하거나 '전 후보 측'이라는 장벽 뒤에 숨어서는 안 된다고 경고했다.

서 수석대변인은 이 사안에 대해 전 후보가 직접 시민 앞에 나서서 답변해야 할 것이라고 거듭 강조했다.

According to a social media post written by Jeong in 2020 and recently made public, in August 2017, shortly after the presidential election, an individual identified as 'A'—described as Candidate Jeon's closest confidant—called Jeong to the National Assembly Members' Office Building. A reportedly told Jeong, "The Blue House Civil Affairs Office conducted an inspection on you and made inquiries within Busan political circles, and we received word from Busan," warning him, "If you want to make a living in this field, watch your mouth." In response, Jeong questioned what they were so afraid of that they had to drag in the Blue House to shut his mouth, adding that if invoking a Blue House Civil Affairs inspection to threaten him was a fabricated story, that in itself would be a major problem.

Chief Spokesperson Seo asserted that there is reasonable suspicion to believe the reason Candidate Jeon’s closest confidant invoked the Blue House Civil Affairs Office and told Jeong to watch his mouth was out of fear that Jeon’s now-exposed bullying and verbal abuse would be revealed to the world, thereby attempting to silence him.

She emphasized that if a statement to the effect that the Blue House Civil Affairs Office was watching was conveyed to a former aide, this cannot be dismissed as a mere personal emotional dispute. She sharpened her criticism by stating that if an actual inspection took place, it constitutes "surveillance of a civilian," and even if no such inspection occurred, it represents a criminal act of "intimidating an individual by borrowing the name of a powerful state agency."

Furthermore, Jeong stated that because A used the expression "we," he naturally assumed that Representative Jeon Jae-soo was also aware of the Blue House Civil Affairs inspection story at the time. Chief Spokesperson Seo pressed further, questioning how Jeong must have felt upon hearing that he was under inspection by the Civil Affairs Office immediately after Moon Jae-in—who served in the Roh Moo-hyun Blue House alongside the "pro-Roh" Jeon Jae-soo—took power.

Seo strongly questioned Candidate Jeon, asking if this is what he means by "a mayor who communicates with a powerful central government," and whether thrusting the name of a massive power institution at a powerless individual constitutes "communication with the central government."

Along with this, she demanded clear answers from Candidate Jeon on whether the Moon Jae-in Blue House Civil Affairs Office actually inspected Jeong, a civilian; if there was no inspection, why such words were conveyed to the former aide; and whether Jeon himself was aware that these statements had been delivered to Jeong.

Lastly, citing Jeong’s statement that "in 2020, Jeon Jae-soo admitted to all the contents appearing in this post and apologized," she warned that Candidate Jeon must not evade the issue this time by saying "it seems false" or "he is not that kind of person," nor should he hide behind the barrier of "Candidate Jeon’s camp." Chief Spokesperson Seo repeatedly emphasized that Candidate Jeon must step forward directly before the citizens to answer these questions.
