[브레이크뉴스=배종태 기자] 부산시가 6월 1일부터 남해고속도로 제2지선 가락요금소~서부산 나들목(IC) 구간에 대해 평일 출퇴근 시간대 통행료 지원을 시행한다. 시는 시민 및 기업의 통행료 부담을 줄이고 도심 주요 도로의 교통량을 분산하기 위해 이번 정책을 추진한다.

부산시는 부산시설공단과 함께 오는 6월 1일부터 평일 출퇴근 시간대 가락요금소 이용 차량을 대상으로 통행료 지원을 시행한다고 밝혔다.

이번 사업은 지난해 12월 제정된 '부산광역시 남해고속도로 제2지선 가락요금소 통행료 지원 조례'에 따른 것으로, 출퇴근 시간대 교통비 부담 완화와 교통 혼잡 해소를 목적으로 한다.

지원 대상은 부산시에 주민등록을 두고 실제 거주하는 시민이 소유 또는 임차한 차량과, 부산시에 사업장을 둔 법인·단체의 소유 또는 임차 차량이다. 단, 소유 차량은 차량 사용 본거지가 부산시로 등록돼 있어야 하며, 임차 차량은 지역 제한 없이 신청할 수 있다.

통행료 지원은 평일 오전 6시부터 9시, 오후 5시부터 8시까지 해당 구간을 통과하는 차량을 대상으로 한다. 이 시간대에는 한국도로공사의 기존 출퇴근 할인과 병행 적용되며, 시가 잔여 통행료를 지원해 이용자 부담을 낮추는 방식으로 운영된다.

부산시는 이번 정책으로 연평균 약 444만 대, 일평균 약 1만 8천 대의 차량이 지원 대상이 될 것으로 예상하고 있다.

통행료 지원 신청은 6월 1일부터 통행료 지원 시스템(busanway.bisco.or.kr)을 통해 하이패스 카드 정보를 입력하고 부산시설공단의 승인을 거쳐 회원가입을 완료한 후 가능하다.

이후 한국도로공사 홈페이지(hipass.co.kr)에서 고속도로 이용 내역을 내려받아 매월 1일부터 15일 사이 통행료 지원 시스템을 통해 신청하면 지원금을 받을 수 있다.

Busan will implement a toll support program from June 1 for vehicles using the Garak Tollgate–Seobusan Interchange section of the Namhae Expressway Second Branch during weekday peak commuting hours. The policy is aimed at reducing commuting costs and easing traffic congestion in key urban corridors.

The Busan Metropolitan Government announced that, in cooperation with the Busan Facilities Corporation, it will begin providing toll support for eligible vehicles using the designated expressway section during rush hours starting June 1.

The program is based on the “Ordinance on Toll Support for Garak Tollgate of the Namhae Expressway Second Branch,” which was enacted in December 2025. It is intended to ease financial burdens related to commuting and improve traffic flow by reducing congestion on major roads.

Eligible vehicles include those owned or leased by Busan residents and by companies or organizations with business premises in Busan. For privately owned vehicles, the registered base of use must be in Busan, while leased vehicles may apply without regional restrictions.

Toll support applies to vehicles passing through the designated section on weekdays between 6:00–9:00 a.m. and 5:00–8:00 p.m. During these hours, existing discounts provided by the Korea Expressway Corporation will be applied first, with the city covering the remaining toll balance to reduce user costs.

The city estimates that approximately 4.44 million vehicle passages annually, or about 18,000 vehicles per day, will be eligible for support. The policy is expected to reduce transportation costs for citizens and businesses while helping to distribute traffic away from congested routes such as National Route 2.

Applications for toll support will be available starting June 1 through the toll support system at [Busan Toll Support System](https://busanway.bisco.or.kr?utm_source=chatgpt.com). Users must register by entering Hi-Pass card information and completing approval through the Busan Facilities Corporation.

After registration, users are required to download expressway usage records from the Korea Expressway Corporation website at [Hi-Pass Service](https://www.hipass.co.kr?utm_source=chatgpt.com) and submit monthly applications between the 1st and 15th of each month via the support system to receive reimbursement.
