25일 넷플릭스는 공식 보도자료를 통해 “통쾌하게 터지는 액션과 인물들의 촘촘한 감정선으로 관객들의 호평을 받았던 영화 <휴민트>​가 오는 4월 1일 넷플릭스를 통해 전 세계 시청자들을 만난다”고 밝혔다. 

<휴민트>는 비밀도, 진실도 차가운 얼음 바다에 수장되는 블라디보스토크에서 서로 다른 목적을 가진 이들이 격돌하는 이야기다.

북한과 러시아의 접경 지역에서 발생하고 있는 사건의 단서를 찾기 위해 각자 블라디보스토크로 향한 네 사람의 이야기를 다룬 <휴민트>는 <밀수​>, <모가디슈>, <베테랑> 등 자신만의 영화적 세계관을 구축해온 류승완 감독의 신작으로 개봉 전부터 기대를 모은 바 있다.
