[브레이크뉴스=배종태 기자] 이준석 개혁신당 대표가 13일 자신의 사회관계망서비스(SNS)에 올린 글을 통해 이재명 대통령의 소셜미디어 활동과 외교 발언을 강하게 비판했다. 그는 “사욕을 위해 국익을 훼손하는 자들을 매국노라 부른다”고 한 대통령의 말을 인용하며 “지금 바로 그 행동을 대통령이 하고 있다”고 지적했다.

외교 비판 자제해온 개혁신당, 이번엔 "침묵 불가"

이 대표는 “그동안 외교는 국익과 직결되기에 정부와 여당의 실책에도 공개적 비판을 자제해 왔다”면서도 “이번 사태는 더 이상 침묵할 수 있는 수준을 넘었다”고 밝혔다. 그는 대통령이 최근 인용한 해외 계정( 'Jvnior')의 성격을 문제 삼으며 “그 계정은 친북 성향으로 김정은을 추앙하고, 대한민국이 속한 자유 진영의 가치를 송두리째 부정하며, 미국과 이스라엘을 비난하는 극단적 주장으로 악명 높다”고 말했다.

“허위정보 유포 계정 인용… 외교 근거가 될 수 있나”

이 대표는 대통령이 검증되지 않은 영상을 인용하며 위안부 문제와 홀로코스트를 언급한 점을 비판했다. 그는 “대통령이 두 해 전 사건을 현재 일인 양 조작된 영상을 공유했다”며 “이스라엘 외무부가 공식적으로 허위정보 유포 계정이라 지목한 곳을 구독하고 인용하는 것은 국익이 아닌 사욕”이라고 주장했다.

“가짜뉴스 외교는 국격 추락으로 이어져”

이 대표는 이어 “가짜뉴스에 절여진 대통령이 정세판단을 잘못하면 나라가 얼마나 위험해지는지 지난 2년간 계엄 사태를 통해 봤다”며 “환단고기 같은 위작을 문헌이라 부르던 대통령이 이번엔 극단주의 계정의 영상을 외교 근거로 삼고 있다”고 비유했다. 그는 “대통령의 손가락이 가벼워질수록 대한민국의 국격은 추락한다”고 강조했다.

“국가 에너지 안보를 도박에 올려놓은 셈”

이 대표는 “이스라엘이 수교 64년 만에 처음으로 '강력한 규탄'을 쏟아냈다"며 "호르무즈 해협이 위협받는 상황에서 이스라엘과의 외교 마찰을 키우는 것은 5천만 국민의 에너지 안보를 도박대에 올리는 일이며, 이 우격다짐을 당장 멈추라”고 촉구했다.

“Can Unverified Sources Be the Basis of Diplomacy?”

Lee also criticized the president for referencing unverified video content while invoking sensitive historical issues such as the comfort women and the Holocaust. “The president shared a manipulated video from two years ago as if it were a current event,” he said. “Subscribing to and citing an account officially identified by Israel’s Foreign Ministry as a source of disinformation is not an act in the national interest, but one driven by personal motives.”

“Fake News Diplomacy Undermines National Prestige”

Lee went on to warn about the dangers of decision-making based on misinformation. “We have seen over the past two years, particularly during the martial law crisis, how dangerous it can be when a leader misjudges the situation due to fake news,” he said. He added, “A president who once referred to a fabricated text like Hwandan Gogi as a legitimate historical source is now using content from extremist propaganda accounts as a basis for diplomacy.” He emphasized, “The more careless the president’s words and actions become, the more South Korea’s national prestige declines.”

“Energy Security Put at Risk”

Lee Jun-seok stated, “For the first time in 64 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations, Israel has issued a ‘strong condemnation.’ At a time when the Strait of Hormuz is under threat, escalating diplomatic friction with Israel is tantamount to putting the energy security of 50 million citizens at risk, and this forceful approach must be stopped immediately.”
