[브레이크뉴스=배종태 기자] 더불어민주당 부산시당은 지난 10일부터 11일까지 진행된 기초단체장 경선 결과 동래구청장 탁영일, 영도구청장 김철훈, 사상구청장 서태경 후보가 각각 승리하여 최종 후보로 선정되었음을 발표했다.

현재 부산 지역에서는 서은숙(부산진구), 정명희(북구), 김진(수영구), 김경지(금정구), 우성빈(기장군), 강희은(중구) 등 총 6명의 여성 기초단체장 후보가 포진하며 강세를 보이고 있다.

시당은 오는 17일과 18일 양일간 실시되는 서구청장 후보 결선 투표를 끝으로 단체장 공천을 마무리 짓는 동시에, 지역구 광역·기초의원 및 비례대표 후보 경선 일정에 본격적으로 착수할 방침이다.

The Busan Provincial Chapter of the Democratic Party of Korea announced that Tak Young-il for Dongnae-gu, Kim Cheol-hun for Yeongdo-gu, and Seo Tae-gyeong for Sasang-gu have been selected as the final candidates after winning their respective local government head primaries held from April 10 to 11.

A total of six female candidates are currently showing a strong presence in the Busan region, including Seo Eun-sook (Busanjin-gu), Jung Myung-hee (Buk-gu), Kim Jin (Suyeong-gu), Kim Kyung-ji (Geumjeong-gu), Woo Seong-bin (Gijang-gun), and Kang Hee-eun (Jung-gu).

The provincial chapter plans to finalize the nominations for local heads following the runoff primary for the Seo-gu Office candidate on April 17 and 18, while simultaneously beginning the full-scale primary process for regional and local council seats as well as proportional representation candidates.
