[브레이크뉴스=배종태 기자] 부산시는 중소벤처기업부가 추진하는 ‘2026년 도약(Jump-Up) 프로그램’에 지역 본사를 둔 중소기업 11개사가 최종 선정됐다고 밝혔다. 이번 선정을 통해 부산은 유망 스케일업 기업 배출지역으로 입지를 더욱 강화하게 됐다.

‘도약 프로그램’은 성장성과 기술력을 갖춘 업력 7년 이상의 중소기업이 신사업과 신시장 진출을 통해 중견기업으로 성장하도록 지원하는 중소벤처기업부의 대표 육성 사업이다. 매년 100개사를 선정하며, 2029년까지 총 500개 기업을 발굴·육성할 계획이다. 사업은 신사업 전략 수립부터 사업화, 투자유치, 글로벌 진출까지 전 주기를 3년간 집중 지원한다.

올해는 전국에서 531개 기업이 신청했으며, 약 두 달 동안 성장성·수익성·혁신성 등을 종합 평가해 100개 기업이 최종 선정됐다. 이 중 부산기업은 11개사로, 지역 혁신 역량과 성장 잠재력을 입증했다.

이번에 선정된 기업은 ▲광성계측기 ▲굿트러스트 ▲다스코 ▲대홍전기 ▲딜리버드코리아 ▲Mt.H콘트롤밸브 ▲SB선보 ▲동양메탈공업 ▲삼영엠티 ▲세진밸브공업 ▲터보파워텍 등이다. 지난해 1기에서 14개 부산기업이 선정된 데 이어 올해 11개사가 추가되면서 부산은 전국 주요 스케일업 기업 배출 지역으로 자리매김하고 있다.

부산시는 성장 잠재력이 높은 지역 중소기업을 발굴하고 단계별 맞춤 지원을 통해 글로벌 경쟁력을 확보할 수 있도록 ‘성장사다리’ 정책을 지속 추진해왔다. 이러한 체계적인 지원이 이번 성과로 이어졌다는 평가다.  

특히 다스코와 터보파워텍은 중소벤처기업부와 부산시가 공동 선정한 지역혁신 선도기업으로, 글로벌강소기업 육성사업과 지역기업 성장사다리 프로그램 등을 통해 기술력과 사업화 역량을 강화해왔다. SB선보 또한 2025년 앵커기업 육성사업에 참여하며 기술개발과 사업화 기반을 확충해왔다.

부산시 관계자는 “지역 유망 중소기업이 글로벌 경쟁력을 갖춘 중견기업으로 성장할 수 있도록 지원을 이어가겠다”며 “부산의 산업 경쟁력을 한 단계 끌어올리는 성과로 연결될 것”이라고 말했다.

The city of Busan announced on Tuesday that 11 local small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) have been selected for the Ministry of SMEs and Startups’ “2026 Jump-Up Program,” a nationwide growth initiative designed to foster high-potential companies into mid-sized enterprises.  

The Jump-Up Program supports SMEs with strong growth prospects and technological competitiveness to enter new businesses and markets, securing fresh momentum for expansion. Each year, 100 companies are chosen, with a total of 500 to be nurtured by 2029. Over a three-year period, the program provides comprehensive assistance, including new business strategy, commercialization, investment attraction, and global market entry.

This year, 531 companies across the country applied, and 100 with the highest potential in growth, profitability, and innovation were selected. Among them, 11 firms are based in Busan, highlighting the city’s growing capacity as a hub for promising scale-up enterprises.  

The Busan-based companies chosen for the second cohort include Gwangsung Instruments Co., Goodtrust Co., Dasco Co., Daehong Electric Co., Deliverd Korea Co., Mt.H Control Valve Co., SB Sunbo Co., Dongyang Metal Industry Co., Samyoung MT Co., Sejin Valve Industry Co., and Turbopowertech Co. Last year, 14 Busan companies joined the first cohort, and with 11 more added this year, Busan continues to strengthen its reputation as a center for high-potential scale-up firms.  

The city has been running its “Growth Ladder” policy to discover and support SMEs with high potential through customized, stage-by-stage assistance. Officials said this structured approach has contributed significantly to this year’s positive results.  

Among the selected firms, Dasco and Turbopowertech are recognized as regional innovation leaders jointly chosen by the ministry and Busan City. Both have enhanced their technological and commercialization capacities through national and municipal programs such as the Global Hidden Champion initiative. SB Sunbo was also selected for the 2025 Anchor Company Development Program, continuing to strengthen its R&D and business capabilities.  

A city official said, “Busan will continue to support promising local companies so they can grow into globally competitive mid-sized enterprises, boosting the city’s overall industrial competitiveness.”
