[브레이크뉴스=배종태 기자] 금정문화재단(이사장 윤일현)은 지역 문화예술 활성화와 메세나 사업 확산을 위해 (사)부산메세나협회(회장 백정호)와 업무협약(MOU)을 체결했다고 21일 밝혔다. 이번 협약은 지역 기업과 예술이 함께 성장하는 선순환 구조를 구축하기 위한 계기가 될 전망이다.  

협약식은 금정구청에서 열렸으며 윤일현 금정문화재단 이사장(금정구청장)과 부산메세나협회 주요 관계자 등 10여 명이 참석해 의미 있는 자리를 함께했다. 양 기관은 이번 협약을 통해 양 기관의 메세나 사업 추진을 위한 상호 협력, 지역 기업 매칭을 통한 문화예술 콘텐츠 개발 및 사업 협력, 금정문화재단 창립 10주년 기념사업 지원 등을 약속했다.  

특히 2026년 창립 10주년을 맞은 금정문화재단은 협회의 네트워크를 활용해 지역 기업과 예술이 상생하는 기반을 마련하고, 다양한 기념사업을 통해 지역 문화 발전의 활력을 더할 계획이다.  

윤일현 이사장은 “메세나는 기업과 예술이 함께 성장하면서 지역 문화예술이 지속적으로 발전하기 위한 중요한 토대”라며 “이번 협약을 통해 금정구가 문화와 예술이 살아 숨쉬는 도시로 한 걸음 더 나아가기를 기대한다”고 말했다.

The Geumjeong Cultural Foundation (Chairman Yoon Il-hyun) announced on January 21 that it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Busan Mécénat Association (Chairman Baek Jeong-ho) to promote local culture and arts and expand the Mécénat initiative. The agreement aims to build a virtuous cycle in which local businesses and the arts grow together.  

The signing ceremony was held at Geumjeong District Office, attended by Chairman Yoon Il-hyun, who also serves as Mayor of Geumjeong District, and about ten key officials from the Busan Mécénat Association. Under the agreement, the two organizations pledged mutual cooperation on Mécénat projects, the joint development of cultural and artistic content through corporate partnerships, and support for the Geumjeong Cultural Foundation’s 10th anniversary projects.  

Marking its 10th anniversary in 2026, the Geumjeong Cultural Foundation plans to use its close network with the association to foster collaboration between local enterprises and the arts, enriching various anniversary projects and boosting the cultural vitality of the region.  

Chairman Yoon Il-hyun stated, “Mécénat serves as an essential foundation for the sustainable development of local culture and the arts, as businesses and art communities grow together. Through this agreement, I hope Geumjeong District will take another step forward as a city where culture and art truly thrive.”
