[브레이크뉴스=배종태 기자] 부산광역시교육청이 중국 상하이의 학생과 교원을 부산으로 초청해 교육·문화 교류 프로그램을 진행하고 있다.  

교육청에 따르면 이번 교류는 지난 10월 부산 학생과 교원이 상하이를 방문한 데 이어 추진된 상호 교류 일정으로, 양 도시 간 신뢰와 협력 관계를 강화하는 계기가 될 것으로 기대된다.  

상하이 방문단은 학생 10명과 교원 8명으로 구성돼 14일부터 19일까지 부산을 방문한다. 이들은 부산국제고등학교와 부산과학고등학교를 찾아 수업에 참여하고, 부산과 인근 지역의 주요 역사·문화 명소를 둘러보는 등 다양한 프로그램에 참여한다.  

교육청은 이번 교류를 통해 양국 학생들이 서로의 문화를 이해하고 세계시민으로서의 역량을 키울 수 있을 것으로 전망한다. 교원들 역시 부산의 교육 현장을 둘러보며 지속 가능한 교류와 공동 프로그램 운영 방안에 대해 의견을 나눌 예정이다.  

김석준 부산시교육감은 “이번 상하이 학생 및 교원 초청은 단순한 방문을 넘어 학생과 교원이 함께 성장하는 교육 교류의 장”이라며 “앞으로도 정기적인 상호 방문과 다양한 교류 프로그램을 통해 부산–상하이 간 교육 협력을 확대해 나가겠다”고 말했다.

The Busan Metropolitan City Office of Education is hosting a group of students and teachers from Shanghai, China, for an educational and cultural exchange program in Busan.  

According to the office, the visit follows a reciprocal exchange in October, when Busan students and teachers traveled to Shanghai. The ongoing program is expected to strengthen trust and cooperation between the two cities through educational collaboration.  

The delegation, composed of 10 students and 8 teachers, is visiting from December 14 to 19. During their stay, they are attending classes at Busan International High School and Busan Science High School, and exploring major historical and cultural landmarks across Busan and nearby regions.  

The exchange aims to help students better understand each other’s cultures and develop their skills as global citizens. Teachers will also have opportunities to observe Busan’s classrooms and discuss sustainable ways to continue joint educational programs.  

Superintendent Kim Seok-jun said, “This exchange goes beyond a simple visit — it is a chance for both students and teachers to learn and grow together. We will continue expanding educational cooperation with Shanghai through regular exchanges and various collaborative initiatives.”
