[브레이크뉴스=배종태 기자] 해운대구 해리단길과 달맞이길 및 추리문학관이 문화체육관광부가 주관하는 로컬 지역문화매력 100선 2기 사업에 선정됐다.  

해운대구는 이번 선정을 통해 지역 대표 문화자원의 가치를 국가적으로 인정받았다고 밝혔다. 이번 사업은 문화체육관광부와 지역문화진흥원이 지역의 우수한 문화 자원을 발굴해 전국적인 문화 브랜드로 육성하기 위해 추진하는 것이다. 

전국 지자체와 국민 추천으로 접수된 약 천여 개 후보 중에서 지역의 매력과 연계성, 주민과 방문객에게 미치는 영향 등을 종합적으로 평가하고, 빅데이터 분석과 전문가 심사, 국민투표를 거쳐 최종 선정했다.  

선정된 지역은 2년 동안 정부의 국내외 통합 홍보 지원을 받는다. 해리단길은 옛 해운대역 뒤편 철길 주변에 형성된 거리로, 동해남부선 폐선 이후 젊은 창업가와 예술인들이 낡은 주택을 개조해 감성적인 카페와 식당을 열면서 자연스럽게 조성됐다. 서울의 경리단길에 비유돼 해리단길이라는 이름이 붙었다.  

달맞이길은 해운대해수욕장과 송정을 잇는 약 4킬로미터 길이의 드라이브 코스로, 봄에는 벚꽃길로, 밤에는 달빛 야경 명소로 각광받는다. 해월정에서는 달맞이 풍경을 감상할 수 있고, 문탠로드를 따라 걸으며 해운대의 야경을 즐길 수 있다.

달맞이길 중간에 자리한 추리문학관은 국내 최초의 추리문학 전문 도서관이다. 여명의 눈동자로 잘 알려진 소설가 김성종이 1992년 사재를 들여 설립했으며, 한국 추리문학의 보급과 발전에 앞장서 왔다.  

김성수 해운대구청장은 이번 로컬백 선정은 해운대 문화자원의 우수성을 입증한 의미 있는 성과라며 정부의 지원을 바탕으로 세계인이 찾는 문화관광 콘텐츠로 발전시키겠다고 밝혔다.  

[Here’s an English news version based on Korean article] Haeundae Haeridan-gil, Dalmaji-gil and the Mystery Literature Museum have been selected for the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism’s Local 100 program for 2026 to 2027.  

Haeundae District said the selection recognizes the excellence of its leading cultural resources at the national level. The Local 100 initiative, jointly run by the ministry and the Regional Culture Promotion Agency, aims to discover and promote outstanding regional cultural attractions as nationwide brands.

About one thousand candidates were recommended by local governments and citizens, and final selections were made through evaluations on attractiveness, connectivity and community impact, along with data analysis, expert review and a public vote.  

Selected areas will receive comprehensive domestic and international promotional support over the next two years.  

Haeridan-gil, located behind the former Haeundae Station, developed after the closure of the Donghae Nambu railway line. Young entrepreneurs and artists converted old houses into cafés and restaurants, creating a unique street culture. The name was inspired by Seoul’s Gyeongridan-gil.  

Dalmaji-gil, a four-kilometer scenic road linking Haeundae Beach and Songjeong, is well known for its cherry blossoms in spring and its moonlit night views. Visitors can watch the moonrise from Haewoljeong Pavilion or enjoy a walk along Moon Tan Road.  

Midway along the road stands the Mystery Literature Museum, Korea’s first library dedicated to mystery fiction. Founded in 1992 by novelist Kim Seong-jong, best known for *Eyes of Dawn*, the museum was established with his personal funds to promote the development of Korean mystery literature.  

Haeundae District Mayor Kim Seong-su said the Local 100 selection is meaningful recognition of the excellence of Haeundae’s cultural assets and added that the district will continue developing them into global cultural tourism attractions with government support.
