[브레이크뉴스=배종태 기자] 국민의힘이 “내란 종합 특검은 이재명 정권의 권력 방탄용 정치쇼”라며 강력히 규탄하고 나섰다.

 

나경원 의원은 20일 오전 청와대사랑채 분수대 앞에서  열린 ‘통일교 게이트·공천 뇌물 쌍특검 촉구 규탄대회’(현장 의원총회)에서 “대한민국은 지금 법치가 죽은 나라, 헌법이 유린당한 나라가 됐다”며 “내란특검의 조작극을 즉각 중단하고 공천뇌물·통일교 쌍특검을 수용하라! 이재명 대통령의 폭정과 민주당의 불의와 싸우는 투쟁을 결코 멈추지 않겠다”고 목소리를 높였다.

 

나 의원은 “지금 대한민국은 범죄자가 대통령이 되어 법을 농락하는 암흑의 시대”라며 “이재명 대통령은 청와대에서 웃으면서 국민의 뜻을 짓밟고 있다”고 직격했다.  

 

그는 “국회 로텐더홀에서는 야당 대표가 물과 소금만으로 단식 중인데, 대통령은 그 절규에 귀를 닫고 내란특검을 강행하고 있다”며 “이것이 법치의 죽음이 아니냐”고 성토했다.

 

나 의원은 “역사는 누가 권력으로 법을 찢고, 누가 정의를 위해 싸웠는지를 분명히 기억할 것”이라며 “내란특검의 조작극을 즉각 중단하고 공천뇌물·통일교 쌍특검을 수용하라”고 촉구했다.  

 

“민생은 피폐한데 특검만 반복…국민 고통 외면한 무능정권”

나 의원은 특검의 실효성과 예산 낭비를 지적하며 “6개월간 세 차례 특검으로 국민 세금 500억 원이 쓰였다. 그러나 민생은 나아지지 않았고, 수사 공백만 늘었다”며 “이재명 정부는 국민의 삶이 무너지는 현실을 외면한 채 정략 정치에 몰두하고 있다”고 질타했다. 또 “서민들이 강도와 범죄의 위협에 떨고, 생활비에 허덕이는데 정권은 오직 야당 탄압과 권력 유지에만 몰두한다”며 “이것이 과연 민생 정부냐”고 반문했다.

 

“내란특검은 방탄특검이자 민생가리기 쇼”

그는 “이번 2차 내란종합특검은 세 가지 목적을 가진 권력형 조작극”이라며 “첫째, 정권의 무능과 경제 파탄을 덮기 위한 것이고, 둘째, 여권 인사들의 비리 은폐와 내로남불을 가리기 위한 방탄특검이며, 셋째, 지방선거를 겨냥한 정치공작용 특검”이라고 규정했다. 이어 “이 정부는 자신들의 부패를 감추기 위해 정의의 칼날을 야당에만 겨누고 있다”며 “법의 이름으로 자행되는 정치보복을 국민의 이름으로 단죄하겠다”고 주장했다.

“공천 뇌물·통일교 특검으로 진짜 비리 밝혀야”

나 의원은 “지금 필요한 특검은 가짜 내란특검이 아니라 민주당 내부의 공천 뇌물과 통일교 연루 의혹을 겨누는 진짜 특검”이라며 “민주당은 마치 꼬리 자르기 하듯 탈당으로 책임을 피하고 있으나 국민은 결코 속지 않는다”고 성토했다.

 

또 “전재수 의원 사건은 공소시효를 넘기며 은폐됐다. 그들의 의도대로 전재수 의원은 이제 날개를 달고 부산시장 나올 수도 있다. 이게 정의가 살아 있는 대한민국 맞는가?"라며 "이재명 정권이 정의를 입에 올릴 자격이 있는가”라고 반문했다.

 

“이재명 대통령도 수사 대상…직권남용 즉각 조사하라”

나 의원은 법원 판단을 인용하며 “헌법 제84조는 대통령의 소추를 금지하지만, 수사를 금지하지 않는다”고 지적했다.  

 

그는 “이재명 대통령은 직권을 남용해 재판을 뒤집고 사법부를 장악하고 있다”며 “대장동 항소 포기 등 새로운 범죄 혐의가 속출한다. 즉각 수사에 착수하라”고 촉구했다.

 

“야당 말살 시도, 국민이 심판할 것”

나 의원은 장동혁 대표의 단식투쟁을 언급하며 “정권은 진심의 단식을 조롱했다. 청와대 오찬 자리에서 ‘빨간색이 서운하겠느냐’며 조롱을 던진 대통령, 그 오만이 바로 이 정권의 민낯”이라고 비판했다.

 

그는 “의료진 지원조차 거부한 국회의장은 국회 수장의 자격이 없다”며 “이 정권의 야당 말살 행태를 국민이 반드시 심판할 것이다. 정의가 숨 쉬는 대한민국을 위해, 국민의힘은 끝까지 싸울 것"이라고 결기를 다짐했다.

The People Power Party (PPP) strongly denounced what it called the “National Rebellion Special Investigation,” labeling it a “political stunt by the Lee Jae-myung administration to shield itself from accountability.”

 

At a rally titled *“Protest and Call for Dual Special Probes into the Unification Church Gate and Nomination Bribery Scandal”* held in front of the Cheongwadae Fountain Plaza on the morning of January 20, Rep. Na Kyung-won declared, “The rule of law in this country is dead, and our Constitution has been trampled upon.” She urged, “Immediately stop the fabricated ‘rebellion probe’ and accept dual special investigations into the nomination bribery case and the Unification Church scandal. We will never cease fighting against the tyranny of President Lee Jae-myung and the injustice of the Democratic Party.”

 

Na sharply criticized the president, saying, “A criminal now leads this country, manipulating the law at will. President Lee is smiling inside the presidential office while trampling on the will of the people.”

 

She continued, “While the opposition leader is on a hunger strike, surviving only on water and salt inside the National Assembly, the president ignores his desperate plea and pushes forward with the rebellion probe. Is this not the death of the rule of law?”  

 

Na warned, “History will remember who abused power to shred the law, and who fought for justice,” again calling for an immediate halt to the “fabricated rebellion probe” and the adoption of special investigations into the nomination bribery and Unification Church scandals.

 

"People’s lives are collapsing, but special probes keep repeating"

Na criticized the government for repeating ineffective special probes and wasting taxpayers’ money. “Three special investigations over six months have already cost 50 billion won, yet people’s livelihoods have not improved — only investigative gaps have widened,” she argued. “The Lee Jae-myung government has turned away from collapsing livelihoods and is engrossed in political scheming.”  

 

She added, “Ordinary citizens tremble in fear of crime and struggle to afford living costs, yet this administration focuses only on suppressing the opposition and clinging to power. How can this be called a government for the people?”

 

"The rebellion probe is a shield and a distraction"

Na claimed that the “second comprehensive rebellion probe” serves three political purposes: “First, to divert attention from the administration’s incompetence and economic failures; second, to shield ruling party figures and conceal their corruption; and third, to stage political manipulation ahead of local elections.”  

 

“This government aims its sword of justice only at the opposition while hiding its own corruption,” she said. “We will hold to account, in the name of the people, this political retaliation carried out under the guise of law.”

 

"Nomination bribery and Unification Church probes must reveal the truth"

Na stressed that “what Korea truly needs is not a fake rebellion probe, but genuine special investigations into the Democratic Party’s nomination bribery and its alleged ties with the Unification Church.” She added, “The Democratic Party is trying to evade responsibility through pretentious resignations, but the public will not be deceived.”

 

Referring to Rep. Jeon Jae-soo’s case, she said, “The statute of limitations expired amid concealment attempts, allowing him to now potentially run for Busan mayor. Is this truly a country where justice is alive? Does the Lee administration have any right to speak of justice?”

 

"President Lee himself must be investigated"

Citing court interpretations, Na argued, “Article 84 of the Constitution prohibits the president’s impeachment while in office but does not prohibit investigation.”  

 

She added, “President Lee is abusing his authority to overturn trial outcomes and subjugate the judiciary. With new allegations — such as the withdrawal of the Daejang-dong appeal — emerging, investigators must act immediately.”

 

"The public will judge this assault on the opposition"

Mentioning PPP leader Jang Dong-hyuk’s ongoing hunger strike, Na criticized the administration’s attitude: “The president mocked his sincere protest, reportedly joking over lunch that ‘red must be feeling left out.’ That arrogance reveals the true face of this administration.”  

 

She concluded, “A National Assembly Speaker who denies medical assistance has lost the right to that office. The people will judge this administration’s suppression of the opposition. The People Power Party will fight to the end for a Korea where justice can breathe.”
